From North Sound Channel, Virgin Gorda, steer a course of 010 M. The distance is 12 NM from North Sound to Anegada Outer Red. Your first sight of Anegada will be the tops of two trees in the anchorage towards which you are heading. They will appear as grey smudges on the horizon off your bow. Do not alter your course from 010 M. The island is surrounded by reefs, so care is needed when accessing the anchorage; buoys are not always in place.
