Reflexologists today believe that the foot is a map of the body which reflects areas in the feet corresponding to all the major organs, glands and bodily parts. Reflexology is essentially a treatment applied to the feet in order to facilitate the healing powers of the body. It promotes relaxation, reduces stress, improves circulation, detoxifies the body, revitalises energy levels and helps to boost the immune system (ie PMT and depression). Therapists do not claim to treat an illness but rather to stimulate the innate capacity of the body to rebalance itself towards optimum health.

• Full Reflexology Treatment (1 hour)

THERERFALEPXYOLOGY MASSAGE ORTS & REMEDIAL MASSAGE Indian Head Massage This is a massage technique brought over from India to cover mid back, shoulders, neck and head. If you are feeling stressed or angry, tension tends to accumulate. This tension can later show up as a stiff neck and shoulders, eye strain and sometimes even hair loss. Indian head massage involves working with a firm and gentle rhythm to help unknot blockages and relieve this uncomfortable build up of tension.

However, its effects are not just physical, it works on an emotional level too, calming the spirit, promoting relaxation and relieving stress. The massage is performed sitting in a chair and can be carried out fully clothed, no oils need to be used. However, a base oil or lotion as well as essential oils, can be used if preferred.
