Ski Club Monday, November 20th is the last day to register for the 2018 ski club. Students in grades 3-8 may participate. Please contact Mrs. Miller: [email protected] for more details or for a registration information card. If you have already registered your child, transportation information will be coming home after Thanksgiving.

New This Year: Any student under age 18 with a season pass may join the club at no additional cost to Brandywine for lessons. They would only need pay for the bus to ride out with us.

The Robots are Here! We have purchased twelve VEX robotics kits with some additional materials. Now we are ready to launch a middle school robotics program at SPB. Although VEX has provided us with online assistance and tutorials, we cannot begin our program without some additional help from parents. We are in need of at least one mentor who would be able to spend some time with students outside of school hours as we have done in recent years preparing for Science Olympiad. We hope to have some robotics teams ready for the Diocesan X-STREAM Games that will be held in April. Please contact Mrs. Carol Jansky if you are available to help launch this robotics program.

Accreditation Process I would like to remind and encourage all parents to complete the OCSAA Parent Survey that was sent through Gradelink. We are accepting responses until November 22, 2017. Your responses are completely confidential and will help us formulate goals for our next accreditation cycle. I appreciate the time you will spend giving thoughtful responses. Thank you.

Symbolon: The Catholic Faith Explained Session 1: The Journey of Faith An old proverb says the longest journey begins with a single step. The Spiritual Formation Committee of St. Clare and St. Paschal invites you to take a step toward a deeper and richer experience of your Catholic faith that will last a lifetime. This is the first of a 10-part study of the Catholic faith entitled Symbolon. They will gather once a month to reflect on ’s plan of salvation for us, basing the study on the Creed. Each session includes prayer, video presentations and time for discussion. So, what is Symbolon? In the early Church, Christians described their Creed, their summary statement of faith, as the symbolon. The Creed served as a means of Christian recognition. Someone who confessed the Creed could be identified as a true Christian. The first session will be held both on January 8 from 6:40PM – 8:10PM in the Kazel Room at St. Paschal and on January 11 from 12:30PM – 2:00PM in the Harvest Room at St. Clare. There is no registration fee, so please just come to become part of this new and exciting adult faith formation program. If you have any questions or would like further information, call Rosalie Lewis at 440-227-8718 or Barbara Curran at 440-840-5511.
