Now the Lumberjacks will return to non-conference play with a 6 p.m. MST tip off Jan. 16 Montana* 12 P.M. against the Grand Canyon Lopes in Phoenix, Ariz. Jan. 21 at Montana State* 6 P.M. • Senior JJ Nakai enters Wednesday averaging 19.5 points per game while hitting 50 percent from three-point range. In Jan. 23 at Montana State* 12 P.M. her first four games for NAU, Nakai has hit 10 three-pointers including four in the most recent game against the Eagles. Jan. 28 at Northern Colorado* 6 P.M. • Junior Regan Schenck produced two of the best games of her career last weekend in Cheney, Wash. Nearing a Jan. 30 Northern Colorado* 12 P.M. triple-double in both contests, Schenck averaged 11.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 7.0 assists against the Eagles. Schenck set her career high on Saturday with seven assists before matching it on Sunday. Feb. 4 Sacramento State* 6 P.M. • With 33 three-pointers attempted this season, senior Jacey Bailey now ranks sixth on NAU’s all-time list. Additionally, Feb. 6 Sacramento State* 12 P.M. Bailey’s 10 three-pointers made puts her just seven makes away from moving into fifth all-time. Feb. 11 at Portland State* 8 P.M. • The Lumberjacks forced 47 turnovers in their two games against the Eagles, scoring 42 points off of them, as their defense Feb. 13 at Portland State* 1 P.M. caused problems for Eastern Washington. The Lopes have produced a similar result to start their first season under Molly Feb. 18 Weber State* 6 P.M. Miller, with opponents turning the ball over 27.6 times per game so far this season. GCU has scored 28.3 points off of Feb. 20 Weber State* 12 P.M. turnovers through three games this season. Feb. 25 Southern Utah* 6 P.M. • GCU and NAU have faced off twice since Loree Payne took over as the Lumberjacks head coach. NAU fell 76-65 to GCU Feb. 27 at Southern Utah* 2 P.M. in Phoenix during the 2016-17 season with a meeting in Flagstaff ending in a 72-54 final a year later. • Freshman Katie Scott leads the Lopes with 20.7 points per game through the first three games of the season, with a Big Sky Championship (Boise, Idaho) season-high of 29 points coming against Loyola Marymount. Scott hit 11-of-18 from the field, including 4-of-6 from three- March 8 First Round TBA point range.
