Smith School of Business at Queen’s University is Canada’s premier and is consistently ranked among the best in the world. The School has been a pioneer in the areas of team-based and experiential learning and offers a suite of MBA and specialized Master’s programs in many locations across Canada. We are proud to be a Founding Partner of Game Plan. Over the next quadrennial, we will be providing 600 scholarships, workshops and networking opportunities to assist Canada’s athletes as they transition into their post-athletic careers.

Scholarships will be made available to qualified applicants for the following programs.

MBA PROGRAMS

Queen’s MBA This full-time program is offered at Smith School of Business in Kingston, . It is a 12-month program that starts in January. It is a team-based program that provides an outstanding overview of business fundamentals and specializations. As well, students are offered the benefits of a team coach, career coach and executive coach. Typically, students range in age from 25 to 32. The program requires an undergraduate degree.

Queen’s Executive MBA Queen’s Executive MBA enables you to earn a Queen’s MBA in 16 months while you work, anywhere in Canada. The program starts in August. In addition to three on-campus sessions at Queen’s, classes are held all day Friday and Saturday mornings every other week. As with the Full-time MBA it is a team-based program that provides an outstanding overview of business fundamentals and the benefits of a team coach, career coach and executive coach. Typically, participants range in age from 30 to 55, with an average of 15 years of work experience.

Queen’s Accelerated MBA for Business Graduates This is Canada’s first MBA program designed specifically for people with an undergraduate degree in business or commerce. It is a 12-month program starting in January, offered in , Edmonton, Calgary, , Markham, Mississauga, and . The curriculum is designed to be incremental to your undergraduate learning. In addition to three on-campus sessions at Queen’s, classes are held all day Sunday and Monday mornings every other week. Typically, participants range in age from 25 to 32, with an average of 6 years of work experience. GRADUATE PROGRAMS

Queen’s Master of International Business This full-time program is offered at Smith School of Business in Kingston, Ontario. It is a 12-month program starting in September and includes three stages. Stage 1, at Smith, provides an overview of subjects including business in the global economy and leadership across cultures. In stage 2, students spend 5 months at one of our international business school partners earning the equivalent of five course credits. In stage 3, student teams complete a major project. This program requires an undergraduate degree in business or equivalent. Typically, students enter this program directly from their undergraduate program.

Queen’s Master of Entrepreneurship & Innovation This full-time program is offered anywhere in Canada. It is a 12-month program offered in partnership with Queen’s Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science. It is designed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs and organizational innovators the business acumen they need to greatly improve their odds of success as they take their ideas to fruition. In addition to intensive academic content, the program includes a variety of practical experiential opportunites.

Queen’s This program is a 12-month program starting in June at the Smith School of Business downtown Toronto Classroom facility. Classes are held on weeknights and weekends, enabling students to complete their degree while they work. The program is designed for people who aspire to a career in investment banking, asset management or financial analysis. Typically, successful applicants will have an undergraduate degree in business or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.

Master of Management Analytics This program is a 12-month program with start dates in January and June at the Smith School of Business downtown Toronto Classroom facility. Classes are held on weeknights and weekends, enabling students to complete their degree while they work. It is designed for people who aspire to a career in the exploding field of management analytics. Graduates leave the program with the ability to organize, analyze and create value from big data. Typically, successful applicants will have an undergraduate degree in business, science or mathematics and a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.

Queen’s Graduate Diploma in Business This is a 4-month summer program starting in May at Smith School of Business in Kingston, Ontario. Designed for recent graduates of any non- business discipline, it provides a solid overview of business fundamentals and enables students to earn eight credits toward their Queen’s MBA degree. Students typically enter the program directly upon completion of their undergraduate degree. They may then return to Queen’s at a future date to complete their MBA degree.
