In the field of natural products Chemistry, supervised four Candidates for M.Phil. and three candidates for Ph.D. Degrees. At present two candidates are working for Ph.D. in Chemistry under my supervision. Two more candidates are working for their Ph.D. degrees in Environmental Science with topics like Studies on Adsorption techniques for the removal of dyes & metal complexes, Photovoltaic cells etc., Two Candidates were awarded the Ph.D. degree in the field of Atmospheric Chemistry and four more candidates were awarded with Ph.D. degrees in the Water Pollution Studies. One candidate was awarded Ph.D. degree in pesticide field and one more in the field of newer methods of trapping metal ions. One candidate got the Ph.D. in degradation of solid wastes and another in fertilizer residues in soil and water systems. One of the candidates got the Ph.D. in adsorption studies. Previously worked as a member of the Academic Council, University of Mysore, Mysuru-5 for two years.
