LIVE HEALTHY IOWA KIDS TRACK MEET The meet will be held at Elwood Olsen Stadium. Participants can enter either two track and one field event or two field and one track event. SIOUX CITY TENNIS CLUB UNITED STATES TENNIS ASSOCIATION MEMBER In partnership with Sioux City Parks & Recreation and Four Seasons Health Club, the new four week sessions will offer improved practices and matches. The Club will focus on etiquette, rules, serving, volleying, ground stroke, tournament play, and having fun. Competitive and non-competitive play days, ladder format for teams, and individual play. HALLOWEEN MONSTER DASH Join us for the 1st Annual Halloween Monster Dash 5K/1K Fun Run on the newly completed trail at Cone Park. LONG LINES FAMILY REC CENTER: Refunds will be given to facility rentals that are canceled thirty days prior to the event. For larger event rentals (i.e. large weddings/receptions, Quinceaneras, company and community events) that paid the $100 non-refundable down payment and/or the full or partial balance – a refund excluding the $100 non-refundable down payment will be given with a thirty day notification of cancellation.

PROGRAM REFUNDS: Recreation programming requires a minimum of one week cancellation prior to the start of the class for a refund (less a 10% administrative fee). No refunds will be given once the class has begun.

ATHLETIC PROGRAMS: Youth and adult athletic program cancellations will be refunded (less a 10% administrative fee) if the cancellation is received prior to the deadline dates. No refund will be given after the deadline date nor after the sport has begun.

The Sioux City Trail System provides ROUTES citizens and visitors the opportunity to explore our Riverfront - Floyd to Boat Ramp...... 1.8 miles unique landscape along the Riverfront Trail, enjoy Riverfront - Boat Ramp to Riverside Park....3.0 miles a healthy urban experience along the Perry Creek Riverside Park to Riverside Pool...... 0.55 miles Trail, and benefit from the natural habitat of the Floyd Trail - 3rd Street to Jefferson Street...3.0 miles Bacon Creek Trail. Sioux City offers over 26 miles Perry Creek (Stone Park Blvd. to Pearl)...... 3.2 miles of paved recreational trails suitable for walking, Bacon Creek...... 3.0 miles jogging, biking, inline-skating, and skateboarding. Ball Diamond Trail (Lewis & Clark)...... 0.05 miles Chautauqua Park...... 3.0 miles Transit (Vine to S. Citizens and visitors Dace to Larsen Park Road...... 0.23 miles are able to jog, bike, walk, or roller-blade along the Cunningham to Transit...... 0.36 mile corridor and connect to the Riverfront Trail in Chris Sertoma Trail Loop...... 2.0 miles Larsen Park. The Riverfront Trail routes between Floyd Blvd. South Bottoms Memorial Circle to Riverside Park TOTAL MILES...... 26.84 miles for a total of 5.35 miles one way. The Riverfront Trail also connects at the South Bottoms Memorial Circle to the Floyd Trail which follows the bank of the Floyd River out to 28th Street for approximate 3 miles one way. The 3.0 mile Bacon Creek Trail encircles Bacon Creek Lake and offers a natural environment for trail users. The Chautauqua Trail, along Singing Hills Blvd. in the Morningside area, traverses to the west through the Industrial Interchange and continues through Chautauqua Park for a one way distance of 4.7 miles. Each trail offers an exceptional way to enjoy our City.

ROSE GARDEN & BANDSHELL ANDERSON DANCE PAVILION Located in Grandview Park the Rose Garden and RENTAL TIMES Bandshell are two historic landmarks with breath- Full Day (7am-11pm) $400 taking backdrops for weddings, concerts, and special Half Day (7am-4pm • 4pm-11pm) $200 events. The Rose Garden has been renovated back to Per Hour $60 its original design, complete with fountain, trellis, and of course, roses! Come check out one of Sioux City’s finest treasures. All of our shelters 5pm-11pm will hold up to 60 guests with Riverside #5, Sertoma, Weekend Full Day $600 10am-11pm and Chris Larsen holding up to 150. Start planning your picnic or potluck now. Reservations may be made year round; however, restrooms are only available 4/15- 10/15. Reservations may be made up to one year in advance; and, payment must be received at the time of reservation. Reservable shelters are available in Riverside, Bacon Creek, Lewis, Leif Erikson, and Chris Larsen Park. First Come-First Serve shelters available in Cook, Mid City, Kirk Hanson, Leeds, and Goldie- Beck, plus other neighborhood parks.
