2020 WCHA FINAL FACEOFF SINGLE-SESSION TICKETS NOW ON SALE College hockey’s top tournament returns to on March 7 and 8

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Jan. 27, 2020 – The Women’s League of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association and the University of announced today that single-session tickets for the 2020 WCHA Final Faceoff championship tournament, to be held March 7 and 8 at Ridder Arena, are now on sale.

The premier conference tournament in women’s college hockey, the 2020 WCHA Final Faceoff will crown the postseason champion of the league’s 21st season. Single-session tickets grant separate access to each of the tournament’s two days of competition and are priced at $20 (general admission bench for seniors/students and youth), $15 (general admission- adults) $12 (Seniors- 62 & older; Students- with valid student ID; Youth- 12 or younger), $20 (reserved chairback) and $7 (groups of 10 or more).

Held at Ridder Arena – the sport’s most iconic venue – the two-day, 2020 WCHA Final Faceoff tournament consists of two semifinal games (Session 1) Saturday, March 7 (at 2:07 p.m. and 5:07 p.m. CT, respectively) and the Sunday, March 8 championship game (Session 2) (at 2:07 p.m. CT).

Details: All-session and single-session ticket packages for the 2020 WCHA Final Faceoff are available for purchase directly through the Gopher Sales & Service Department; in-person at 3M Arena at Mariucci (during regular office hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT, Monday-Friday) or during all Gopher Women’s Hockey games, via phone at 612-624-8080 (Option 1) or online here. Certain fees may apply. This year, for the first time, all ticketing for the Final Faceoff will be mobile or print-at-home.

Annually pitting college hockey’s top women’s programs and players, the three winning teams from the league’s best- of-three, quarterfinal-round playoff series (Feb. 28-March 1) will join the 2019-20 WCHA regular season champion to compete for the league’s playoff championship and its automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament. - MORE –
