· The Consumers Energy 400 will mark Kyle Busch’s 485th career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series start and his 28th NASCAR Cup Series start at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.

· Busch has career totals of 49 wins, 30 poles, 177 top-five finishes, 259 top-10s and 15,448 laps led in 484 career Cup Series races. His most recent Cup Series win came two races ago at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway. Busch’s most recent pole, the 30th of his career, came at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway in May.

· Busch has one win, five top-five finishes and nine top-10s and has led a total of 233 laps in 27 career Cup Series starts at Michigan. Busch’s average Michigan finish is 18.9.

· Regular-Season Race: Busch leads the regular-season standings by 70 points over second-place . Busch and Harvick both have six wins and, with five races to go in the regular season, both are battling it out for the 15-point playoff bonus for winning the regular-season title. Busch has 36 playoff points to Harvick’s 33, with Martin Truex Jr., sitting at 27 playoff points.

· 15,000 Plus: With his impressive 377 of 400 laps led in the Coca-Cola 600 in May, Busch topped the 15,000-laps-led mark in NASCAR’s top series and became just the 10th driver in NASCAR history to do so.

· 49 Career Cup Series Wins: With his Cup Series win at Pocono, the 49th points-paying win of his career, Busch is now tied for 13th on the all-time wins list with former JGR teammate . Next up Busch is chasing NASCAR legends and , who both scored 50 wins during their Hall of Fame careers. With his 40th Cup Series victory at Bristol (Tenn.)
