E-visa to Russia General Information:

Currently available to 3 different regions:

1. Far-Eastern Federal District 2. Kaliningrad Region 3. Saint-Petersburg Region

Regions cannot be combined: the traveler should enter and exit through the specific border control points, assigned for each of the regions accordingly. Travelers may enter and exit by air, sea, train and car, but need to adhere to the border control points restrictions as designated for each of the regions.

The e-visa is single entry only, it cannot be extended. If traveler needs more time or more entries, h/she needs to apply for a traditional visa version.

The full validity of the visa is 30 consecutive days from the date of issue, meaning within these days the traveler may enter and depart Russia once. The e-visa application may be submitted 20 days prior to travel earliest and 4 days prior to travel latest.

The full length of stay in Russia may not exceed 192 hours (8 full consecutive days) within the allotted 30 days of visa validity. The countdown always starts at midnight of the day of entry, no matter at what time traveler enters, it will count as full 24 hours first day. Therefore, it is important to calculate latest exit time accordingly.

Passport must have a remaining validity 6 months after returning from Russia and there must be enough space for border control stamps.

Travelers will be required to have proof of medical insurance covering Russia for the entire duration of trip.

The only trip types covered by the e-visa are currently:

Visa to Saint-Petersburg and Kaliningrad Regions is available for the citizens of 53 countries:

Austria, Andorra, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, China (including Taiwan), Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Sweden, Switzerland, Vatican

Visa to Far East Federal District is available to the citizens of the following 18 countries:

Bahrain, Brunei, China (including Taiwan), India, Iran, Japan, Kuwait, Mexico, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Turkey

To enter and depart KALININGRAD Region with e-visa, you need to pass through either:

o air checkpoint «Kaliningrad (Khrabrovo)»; o naval checkpoint «Kaliningrad (checkpoints in the cities of Kaliningrad, Baltiysk and Svetly)»; o railroad checkpoints «Mamonovo», «Sovetsk»; o automobile checkpoints «Bagrationovsk», «Gusev», «Mamonovo (Grzechotki)», «Mamonovo (Gronowo)», «Morskoje», «Pogranichny», «Sovetsk», «Chernyshevskoye».

To enter and depart Saint-Petersburg Region with e-visa, you need to pass through either:

o air checkpoint «Pulkovo»; o naval checkpoints «Vysotsk», «Big port Saint Petersburg (Marine Station)», «Passenger port Saint Petersburg»; o automobile checkpoints «Ivangorod», «Torfjanovka», «Brusnitchnoe», «Svetogorsk»; o pedestrian checkpoint «Ivangorod».

To enter and depart Far-Eastern Federal District, you need to pass through either:

for Primorskiy Kray:

o naval checkpoints «Vladivostok», «Zarubino», «Posiet»; o railroad checkpoints «Pogranichny», «Khasan», «Makhalino»; o automobile checkpoints «Poltavka», «Turiy Rog». for Sakhalin region:

o air checkpoint «Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Khomutovo Airport)»; o naval checkpoint «Korsakov». for Kamchatka kray:

o air checkpoint «Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Yelizovo Airport)»; o naval checkpoint «Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky». for Amur region:

o air checkpoint «Blagoveschensk». for Khabarovsk kray:

o air checkpoint «Khabarovsk (Novy Airport)». for Chukotka autonomous okrug:

o air checkpoint «Anadyr (Ugolny Airport)». for Republic Buryatia:
