SERVING UP SOME SPRING WINS FEBRUARY Spring season has officially fired up, starting with double wins from SCAD tennis. The No. 5 ranked women’s team won 7-0 over Webber International University at home, starting GAME RECAP the team’s winning streak. The lady bees have remained undefeated since the Webber match and will host the #22 Marian University on Friday, March 6. The men’s team Women’s Tennis (5-1, 5-1 TSC) followed with a win of 5-2 against Webber International. Matches have been tough on the men’s side seeing that they are now 1-5 for their season record. W, 7-0 SCAD VS 2/1 Webber International University SCAD swimming started off February in Atlanta to take on the NCAA D1 Georgia Tech. W, 6-1 SCAD @ 2/8 The men’s team fell short 164-97 but came away with four race wins. The women’s St. Thomas University team faced both NCAA DI Georgia Tech and NCAA DI Georgia Southern at the meet. W, 6-1 SCAD VS 2/15 The Bees took down the GSU Eagles 207-75, but lost to the GT Yellow Jackets 214-79. #RV Southeastern University Both teams also competed at the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships in SCAD @ 2/22 Charlotte, N.C. later in the month. W, 6-1 Warner University The No. 9 ranked SCAD men’s lacrosse team is currently undefeated, and is looking to SCAD VS 2/26 Postponed #RV College of Coastal Georgia stay that way. The men are now 4-0 in the season and 2-0 in the AAC conference. On February 29, the Bees dominated St. Andrews University winning 29-7. Elliot Fish broke SCAD @ 2/29 W, 4-3 Ave Maria University both the individual game records of goals scored and total points counted. Fish was a stand-out game leader with a total of 10 goals and totaling 13 points. JT Smith also Men’s Tennis (1-5, 1-5 TSC) broke the single game ground ball record with 21 ground balls. He had also set the SCAD VS 2/1 previous record of 15 in his previous season. W, 5-2 Webber International University The No. 1 ranked women’s lacrosse has successfully showed their dominance league, SCAD @ 2/8 remaining undefeated. On February 8, the team shut out Columbia College with L, 1-6 St. Thomas University a score of 29-0. The lady bees also took care of #4 Keiser University on February 16, SCAD VS 2/15 winning 24-15. Senior Sydney Knego had a record tying nine goals and three assists for L, 2-5 #RV Southeastern University 12 points by the end of the game. SCAD @ 2/22 L, 1-6 Warner University Men’s bowling won first place out of 23 teams at the McKendree Baker Challenge in O’Fallon, Illinois. They later competed at the Tier 1 Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis, Postponed SCAD VS 2/26 #RV College of Coastal Georgia Indiana, and placed 3rd out of 78 teams. The women’s team had also competed in

SCAD @ 2/29 both tournaments. The team took 4th place out of 15 teams in Illinois, and then placed L, 0-7 Ave Maria University 17th out of 65 in Indiana.
