The Panthers are coming off of consecutive shutouts and have not allowed a point in nine consecutive quarters. Jeremiah Johnson Defensive Co./S UNI is 2-2 on the year with just one home game so far. NDSU is 4-0 on the year but has yet to hit John Bond Offensive Co./QBs the road. They are coming off of a 21-17 win over then No. 3 South Dakota State last Saturday in David Braun Special Teams Co./OLB the Fargo Dome. D.J. Vokolek Assistant Head Coach/LBs No. 21 opened the Valley Football season with a strong performance in all three phases of the Ryan Clanton Offensive Line game. Trevor Allen led the way for UNI with 180 yards rushing and two touchdowns while Eli Nick Danielson Tight Ends Dunne was 16-24 for 218 yards. Defensively, the Panthers tallied a shutout and it was closed out with an exclamation point when Duncan Ferch returned an interception 19 yards for a touch- Quentin Griffin Running Backs down in the fourth quarter. Pat McCann Wide Receivers Bryce Paup Defensive Line UNI faces the top-ranked Bison in the first road trip of the season of NDSU. The Bison survived a battle of top-5 teams last week, topping No. 3 South Dakota State 21-17 in the Fargo Dome to take Aairon Savage Cornerbacks back the Dakota Marker. Kate Deakins Dir. of Football Operations NDSU has racked up 1794 yards of total offense in just four games. They have 1,097 yards rushing and average 448.5 yards of offense per game. Both were bound for Dove Valley, both would sign on a dotted line and both would later be introduced as the newest members of the Broncos’ remade defense. The moment, 30,000 feet in the air, is when Ware knew what was happening. He could see John Elway’s vision for the Broncos after their embarrassing Super Bowl XLVIII loss to Seattle. “Just their mentality is a ‘now’ mentality. A mentality of, ‘I’m not looking forward to the next season or the season after that — the time is now,’ ” Ware told a crowd of reporters on his first day as a Bronco. “So when I looked back there in that back seat and I see Talib, I’m like, ‘You know what? They’re trying to get the job done.’ ” Those two joined free-agent safety T.J. Ward, as well as Emmanuel Sanders, a former Pittsburgh Steeler wide receiver who would sign days later to be Denver’s No. 2 receiver in the wake of Eric Decker’s departure.
