The circuit is a motorsport complex located about 70 km south of Cologne, and 120 km northwest of Frankfurt in the Eifel mountains. 01:23 Voice Over 3 The races are held on the Formula One circuit version… It’s 5.148 Km long with 16 corners… And the track record for the Formula Renault 3.5 series is 1:39.991, reached by the Dutch Robin Frinjs in 2012. 01:39 Jingle Feature: Circuit presentation with S. BUEMI 01:45 Voice Over Third driver of the Infiniti Red Bull Racing team, but also one of the top profiles in the World Endurance Championship, Sébastien Buemi is our special host at the Nürburgring. He emphasizes the way the World Series by Renault do prepare young guns to Formula 0ne. 02:04 ITW Sébastien BUEMI (SWI) – Test and Reserve Driver Infiniti Red Bull Racing “ It is a great place to be. Clearly, you learn a lot, you get ready for Formula One. If you look at the power that you have now in the 3.5, if you look at the race format, the start, the pit stops, everything get you ready. We have seen some great guys doing a great job last year like Kevin Magnussen, who is doing well this year in Formula One. Clearly, it definitely helps to compete in the World Series by Renault. ” 02:32 Voice Over While driving a Red Bull for a great Formula One show, the Swiss give us the main characteristics of the Nürburgring circuit. 02:43 ITW Sébastien BUEMI (SWI) – Test and Reserve Driver Infiniti Red Bull Racing “ The Nürburgring is 5,2 km long with 15 corners. Predominance of slow and medium-speed corners encourages the team to run cars with high down force. “ 02:54 “ The twisty low speed first sector contrasts the high speed reached later. ” 03:02 “ The chicanes demand soft suspension to really attack the kerbs, and the smooth surface also leads to set up the car in order to maximise mechanical 4 grip. The circuit encourages close racing and overtaking with a couple of big braking zone. Traction on the exit is very important here. It’s really a technical challenge, and the circuit highlights any weaknesses in cars or drivers. So it’s a perfect track for the World Series by Renault. You can really get a clear idea of the young driver’s technical abilities. I hope you enjoy this lap. Now, enjoy the racing!” 03:47 Jingle Feature: Formula Renault 1.6 NEC 03:51 Voice over For more than 40 years, Renault Sport has developed single seaters and championships to help young drivers to reach the summit of motor racing. • The Third Name of Prema Powerteam in Formula Regional Confirmed
The third name of Prema Powerteam in Formula Regional confirmed Frederik Vesti completes Prema’s Formula Regional European Championship certified by FIA drivers’ line-up Rome, Monday 25 2019 – Prema Powerteam is proud to announce the completion of its roster for the upcoming Formula Regional European Championship with 17-year-old Danish racer Frederik Vesti. Lining-up for the opening season of the brand-new championship, which will bridge the gap between Formula 4 and the new FIA Formula 3 Championship, Vesti is a valuable addition to the team in its effort to get up to speed quickly in a brand-new technical and competitive environment. In his first few seasons in single seaters, Vesti achieved a fair share of success after scoring many impressive results in karting. After making his Formula Ford debut in 2016, he was a runner-up in the Danish Formula 4 Championship the following year while also securing a breakthrough win in the German series. Last season, he took two wins en-route to fourth place in the German Formula 4 Championship. He also scored two wins in the 2018 Italian Formula 4 championship and later stepped up to F3 racing by entering the final round of the European season and the world-famous Macau Grand Prix. Angelo Rosin “Frederik is a very interesting prospect. We kept an eye on him over the last couple of seasons and he always impressed us for his speed and consistency. It is an exciting time for our team, starting a brand-new championship with three talented youngsters. With our hard-working approach and such a promising combination, we are confidently looking forward to the 2019 season as we are facing the new challenge, determined to continue our positive run of form in junior single-seaters.” Frederik Vesti "I am thrilled to join Prema Powerteam and I really think that this move can boost my career.
