Signing of an administrative arrangment with SHOM. In october 2014, the Royal Moroccan Navy was tasked, to take charge of hydrography, océanography and marine cartography in the waters under national jurisdiction, in the atlantic ocean and in the méditerranéan sea. Indicator Baseline Report Casablanca MITIGATING COMMUNAL CONFLICT BY ENGAGING YOUTH CONSTRUCTIVELY IN LOCAL DEMOCRATIC AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT through the establishment of Youth Community and Mediation Centers in Casablanca and Tetouan Cooperative Agreement No. 608-A-00-08-00011 January 2009 Introduction: The purpose of this document is to present the baseline results of the indicators of performance for the YCMC Project in Casablanca. This is supposed to be a document that captures the state of indicators at the beginning of the intervention to create a benchmark against which performance will be evaluated later on. The baseline was conducted in January 2009 by Seddik Ouboulahcen, Design, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at Search for Common Ground in Morocco. It reports the state of the indicators in the three prefectures of Casablanca included in the project: Mers Sultan el Fida, Moulay Rachid and Sidi Moumen. A control group was created. The baseline was taken on a non-participant sample group in the same project area as the participant group. For the midterm evaluation, the evaluation was conducted on the participant sample group for comparison purposes. The indicators are evaluated at baseline, midterm and final evaluation as stated in the project performance monitoring plan. Nonetheless, additional data is collected on a quarterly basis for internal reporting purposes, and to effectively track performance. Description of the Sample used in the Baseline: The total number of people who provided intensive feedback for the baseline survey is 14 youth and 8 community members aged between 26 and 48. A. Youth Youth ranging from ages 17-24 were interviewed about their roles in mitigating conflict in their communities, about the roles their peers play and also about the availability of viable employment opportunities. -

Morocco; [email protected] Abstract Objectives: This study allows us to examine the constraints linked to the integration of the information and communication technologies in education of physics and chemistry in public middle and high school in Casablanca (Morocco). Methods/ Statistical Analysis: To carry out this research, we used the investigation method using a questionnaire in the region of Casablanca - Settat (Morocco), exactly in the provincial direction of Moulay Rachid-Sidi Othman during 2016/2017 school year. The target population of our survey is about 97 secondary school teachers: 31 in middle school and 66 in high school. To complete our study, we asked few questions to the directors of the targeted institutions, and some to the inspectors of phys- ics and chemistry. LES PORTS DU MAROC EN CHIFFRES Port de Mohammedia Vocation majeure : pétrolier Latitude 33° 43’ Nord Longitude 7° 24’ Ouest Historique Le port de Mohammedia, construit en 1913 par la Compagnie du Port de Fedala pour la pêche avec un quai à -3 m/zh, a connu de nombreuses mutations dans le but de s’adapter aux nouveaux produits, tailles des navires et exigences de ses clients. En 1952 fut construit le 1 er sea-line composé de 2 conduites de diamètre 14’’ sur 2 km, destinés à la réception des produits raffinés à partir de tankers de 50.000 TPL amarrés à -18 m/zh de profondeur. Avec cet équipement, le port de Mohammedia devenait le 1 er port pétrolier d’Afrique. L’implantation de la raffinerie de la Samir à Mohammedia en 1961 est un tournant décisif pour l’avenir de ce port qui a vu son trafic fortement haussé avec l’activité d’import de pétrole brut. De 1966 à 1979, le port a connu 3 importants Le port de Mohammedia avant 1952 développements : t 1966 : L’extension de son réseau de pipelines reliant la raffinerie aux dépôts pétroliers de l’Oued Mellah ; t 1971 : La construction d’un 2 ème sea-line composé de 2 conduites de diamètre 30’’ et 14’’ pour la réception du pétrole brut et des produits raffinés à partir de tankers de 100.000 TPL amarrés à -22 m/zh ; t1979 : La mise en service d’un 3 ème sea-line de diamètre 30’’ de pétrole brut destiné à la réception de tankers de 150.000 TPL à -25 m/zh. -

اــ اـــ Royaume du Maroc MONOGRAPHIE DE LA PREFECTURE DES ARRONDISSEMENTS AL FIDA MERS SULTAN ا ا ار اء DIRECTION REGIONALE DE CASABLANCA Mars 2012 PREAMBULE LLL’apport des études monographiques au processus de la décentralisation et de la planification provinciale ou régionale est indéniablement considérable suite aux informations fournies sur les différents secteurs de l’activité socio-économique au niveau provincial et régional. DDDe sa part, et pour contribuer au développement de la préfecture, la Direction Régionale du Plan du Grand Casablanca, relevant du Haut-commissariat au Plan, s’est engagée à l’élaboration des monographies régionale, préfectorale et provinciale, afin de mettre à la disposition des décideurs des statistiques fiables et actualisées. DDDans ce cadre, la présente monographie présente un travail assez synthétique de la préfecture des arrondissements d’Al Fida Mers Sultan , tout en mettant en évidence les potentialités, les atouts et éventuellement certaines contraintes entravant le développement de la préfecture. LLLa Direction Régionale du Plan du Grand Casablanca tient à remercier vivement tous les responsables ayant collaboré à la réalisation de cette monographie (Administrations, Organismes privés…….). 1 Introduction La préfecture des arrondissements d’Al Fida Mers Sultan s’étend sur une superficie estimée à 7,44 Km 2, soit près de 0,9% de la superficie totale de la région du Grand Casablanca. Cette préfecture concentre 9% de la population régionale. Elle est caractérisée par sa densité élevée avec 46 684 habitants/km² contre 16 008 au niveau urbain de la région, et une baisse continue du taux d’accroissement de la population. -
