A group of Year 7 and 8 boys spent some of the Easter holidays touring Barbados playing . Sightseeing was short as they packed in three matches during the week – THS winning the series 2-1! The boys behaved impeccably – none more so than when representing Queen and country at The High Commission where they were able to donate cricketing equipment to a primary school. NOT

Tower House is proud to contribute many thousands of pounds to an assortment of charitable causes each year. In 2014-2015 the Junior School charity was Holly Lodge, which is a unique small charity in the heart of Richmond Park. FOR The centre specialises in activities for people with special needs. The Senior School classes raised money for a variety of causes – these ranged from The Brompton Fountain, wheelchairs for developing countries and of course everyone joined in with Red Nose Day. Christmas was celebrated with a pantomime from the Cats Grin theatre company, a wonderful nativity play at Christchurch and a delicious Christmas lunch with the boys wearing their own crowns. FOR NOT

From an inter-house poetry competition, inter-school writing competition and a combined Year 8 and Year 2 poetry reading to a Book Week with a theme of detective fiction (allowing a dress up day of course) and reading projects, English is FOR full speed ahead at Tower House. NOT

We have recently formalised the important role our senior two years play in the smooth running of the school. As adults we rely heavily on them to set positive examples and provide role models for the younger boys. The upper school pupils gel FOR together in many facets of school life but it is in team sports that this is most evident – especially when touring far afield Consequently the boys receive a slightly different tie as they enter Year 7 then take on a series of NOT bonding challenges – as these photos show, it does not take them long to forge a strong union.

Many musical events took place during the year including a music festival at Epsom College, a trumpet workshop, piano recital, recorder concert, spring concert and the Christmas concert. FOR NOT
