In 2014/15 the Mos and their supporters raised over £500 for the Paige Stewart Appeal in aid of a young 5 year old girl in need of a life changing operation to walk. Later in the campaign the club backed the Kent branch of Abigail’s Footsteps - a charity created to support families of stillborn babies. In addition the Dynamos have recently featured in a local football charity game in aid of Demelza Hospice Care for Children - whilst the team’s fans generously donated over 100 teddy bears to the same organisation on Christmas Eve during 2012/13. Looking forward I’m hoping we can overturn the 2 goal deficit in the come this coming week the first leg was quite a frustrating night but I certainly don’t think we’re out of it and will give it everything we have to turn it around! It’s been a tough season so far mainly down to injuries but credit to the boys in the room through everything we are still in a decent position, and a massive part of that is our home form which is also down to you guys the fans, we love the atmosphere here in hull and long may that continue!     NIHL SENIOR LEAGUES NATIONAL ICE HOCKEY LEAGUE “The future depends on what we do in the present” Mahatma Ghandi NIHL SENIOR LEAGUES Report to: The English Ice Hockey Association, Annual General Meeting 2018 Author: Paul Hayes, Director NIHL South Forward: Charles and Myself would like to thank the work of the both LMC’s for a successful year especially with the end of the EPIHL and the teams requesting entry into the NIHL, its has been a very testing first season. We would like to thank all the clubs for their patience in the transition and we hope that this season has ultimately been successful. We look forward to the forthcoming season with the hope that we can build upon the good start and develop the league further for the benefit of hockey in England & Wales. We would like to thank the League managers who’s reports will follow and especially our fixtures team Tony Lack & Gary Dent, who without there help the fixtures would not have been completed. We would also like to thank Mary Faunt, Liz Moralee Registrations, Craig Simpson Media, Steve Merry Tournaments and Discipline Lynn Faber, we look forward to their continued support for the forthcoming season. Following the dissolving of the EPIHL, four sides joined the NIHL (Basingstoke, Bracknell, Peterborough and Swindon), all of which have added greatly to the league.

In my eyes its unacceptable and even worse its completely our own doing. We had a huge character win against MK in over�me, everyone was flying and feeling good. Then 20 hours later in Sheffield we threw the game away and handed the 2 points to them. The manor in which we did that has snowballed and led to our last 2 defeats this weekend. Its frustra�ng as we were in a really good posi�on and playing good hockey. Then through our own doing put ourselves in a mid table ba�le. Its credit to the league this year as the results have shown. Its competa�ve which is what we all wanted. There are no guaranted wins. Every team has to ba�le for every win now, but s�ll with all respect to other teams we shouldn’t be in this ba�le. Its no one persons fault, we have a team i believe in and know can win. We have had more than our fair share of injuries this season and ba�led through. We have players back and need to get back on track, play our game and build to the playoffs. So its reset �me and gut check �me. Guys have and will be challenged and i believe we will get a posi�ve reac�on.
