Class Description

You’ll always have the right needle close at hand when you store them in these convenient cases. These handy cases provides easy-to-locate, compact storage areas for needles of all types and sizes.

Learn to print labels on using your home printer. The secrets? Cotton twill tape and double-faced tape.

Laminate the handy chart (included in the ) for a quick reference guide to different types and sizes of needles, both hand and machine.

Here's a handy tip: Raid the closet or your local thrift shop to find a lady's wool skirt. Then use it to make your own felted wool for these wonderful wool cushions. They are simply the best and make wonderful gifts!

 machine in good working order with , 1/4" foot, and foot. If you have a Teflon foot for your machine, bring it, too, to facilitate stitching on the vinyl. Don’t forget the extension table for your machine.

Rotary cutter and rulers

Basic sewing kit, including #90/14 needles, Wonder Clips, a stiletto/pressing tool, (the large yellow-topped quilting pins work best), , thread, chalk marker or similar tool for marking lines, washable school glue stick, etc.

Lots of pockets and see-through divisions provide plenty of space for organizing both hand and machine needles, loose or packaged. The Large Needle Case is about 10” x 13” when open and folds to about 10” x 6½”. The Small Needle Case is about 4” x 9½” when open and folds to about 4” x 4¾”. Included in the pattern are several handy charts detailing needle types, characteristics, sizes and applications.
