Concertgolf Partners Reciprocal Privileges ConcertGolf Partners Reciprocal Privileges A Private Club Experience — Wherever You Want to Go Members of the Concert Golf family are granted access to over 600 private clubs, worldwide. While there is no monthly cost nor upgrade fee to be granted access to the reciprocal programs, members may be subject to guest rates where applicable. Whenever you travel for work or pleasure, we are committed to ensuring a seamless and quality golf experience. Please contact your Golf Pro to arrange tee time reservations (advance booking may be required at select clubs). Your reciprocal privileges are made possible by our partnerships with the following organizations: ConcertGolf Partners Click here to view a map of the Concert Golf portfolio of clubs. When visiting another Concert Golf Club, you will be treated as a member and your benefits will mirror your home Club benefits. Members receive cart fee only pricing and preferred guest fee rates for guests. To preserve the private Club environment, your reciprocal benefits are limited to 6 times per year, per Club. Importantly, the inbound reciprocal play to your home Club is closely monitored and limited to avoid excessive outside play. The Executive Golfer Collection seeks to partner with only the premier golf clubs in any given market. Applicable guest rates apply for Members and guests. Golf Members are welcome to bring up to three accompanied guests. Links2Golf provides Members with an expansive golf experience through an innovative international membership structure. Links2Golf provides access to a collection of 500+ clubs throughout the world. The Links2Golf portfolio also includes the TPC Network, comprised of more than 30 private, resort and daily fee golf properties designed by some of golf’s most elite architects.     THE DONALD ROSS LEGACY IN GEORGIA BY JOHN COMPANIOTTE IN recent years golf course architect Donald Ross’s contributions to the game have been reinvigorated by the playing of the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2 course. That course was Ross’s work- shop for nearly 50 years and it still retains some of the basic features associated with his design work. Open front greens allowing a run-up approach shot, a lay- out following the natural contours of the land, shallow bunkers and greens whose surfaces sit perched above their sur- rounds are some of the typical attributes of a Ross design, although not present at every course where he worked.     A PROFILE OF REES JONES Rees Jones was born into the game of golf. He learned to play as a youngster, competing as a junior golfer in college and while in the army. He grew up traveling with his family to golf courses all over the world and worked in the summers for his father, renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones. After college at Yale and graduate studies at Harvard he went to work in 1964 as a principal in Robert Trent Jones, Inc. Ten years later in 1974; he founded his own design firm, Rees Jones, Inc., headquartered in his hometown of Montclair, New Jersey. He has designed or redesigned more than 100 golf courses in his career. The company offers a full range of services to help each client achieve their goal by providing an outstanding final product, completed on schedule and within the client's budget. Jones has earned the moniker “The Open Doctor” for his redesign of courses in preparation for major championships. His re-modeling skills have been applied to a number of U.S. Open venues, PGA Championship courses, Ryder Cup and Walker Cup sites as well as the Presidents Cup at The Royal Montreal Golf Club. Two of his courses are FedEx Championship sites; Cog Hill Golf & Country Club, host of the BMW Championship and East Lake Golf Club which is the permanent site of the PGA TOUR's Tour Championship. Jones has left his mark on several courses in Canada: . His skill and experience in preparing courses for the U.S. Open earned him the moniker “The Open Doctor.” Rees Jones’ entry into the game of golf was inevitable. As the son of legendary golf course designer, Robert Trent Jones, Sr., Rees would accompany his father while surveying courses, learning literally from the ground up. After earning a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and studying at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, Rees became a principal at Robert Trent Jones, Inc. in 1964. Rees launched his own design firm in 1974. Since that time, Rees Jones has designed or redesigned over 170 golf courses in his career, including U.S. Open, PGA Championship, Ryder Cup, Walker Cup and President’s Cup venues.
