Charleston ranks T-10th in the SAL in hitting during that span (.233), with middle-of-the-pack numbers in on-base percentage (.319, T-6th), slugging percentage (.375, 7th) and OPS (.694, 5th). The Dogs have earned just 359 total bases during that stretch, good for 6th in the SAL. Charleston’s staff ERA is 3.74 in that span as well, ranking 7th, and its pitchers have walked the fourth-most opposing hitters (99) and sit in seventh in the league in strikeouts (260). • Pinstriped Prospects: The RiverDogs once again tap into a deep farm system in the New York Yankees in their 14th season of affiliation with the 27-time World Champs. Losing some of their organizational talent due to promotions and trades, the Yankees’ system fell from the second-best in the game to 20th on the Baseball America rankings heading into 2019.
