Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Tune in to NBC on November 26th to watch the 89th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Watching the parade can be a nice background to add to a family Thanksgiving meal and is a fun tradition to have each year. The parade is awesome to see on television, but experiencing it in person helps someone realize just how remarkable it really is. “I think I have only watched the parade once on TV,” Brooke Boettcher12 said. “When my sister got the chance to perform in the parade, my family traveled to see it in person. It was freezing and we got to the street where the parade was going to take place about two hours before the parade started just to have a great spot.
