Prayer for Exam Time: Father God, be with me now as I prepare for my examinations. Thank you for the many talents and gifts that you have given me, and for the opportunity of an education. Calm my nerves and anxiety, help me to remember all that I have studied, to express it clearly and to answer the questions the very best that I can. Rally for Life – The tenth All Ireland Rally for Life will be held in Belfast city centre on Saturday 2nd July. Join thousands of people from across Ireland for this fun-filled family day out. Mass will be celebrated in St Malachy’s Church, Belfast before the Rally at 12.30pm. Botha CCE has nominated Michael Farrell, a highly respected individual and leading figure in community development initiatives. He is best known as Principal of Killyhommon P.S. and St. Patrick’s P.S. and he was a founder member of Derrygonnelly Credit Union. Michael is a devoted member of Derrygonnelly Harps and was key to securing funding for the development of the Harps G.F.C. He is also a member of Derrygonnelly Angling Club. The full nomination and history of Michael Farrell’s contribution to the Parish will be available on Botha CCE Facebook Page. Michael will receive his award at the Presentation Night on Thursday 9th June 2016 at 8pm at the Fermanagh Fleadh in . The Parish Pastoral Team is proposing to establish a Book Stall in each of our three Churches. Hard luck to our Under 16 ladies and Under 14 lads who put in a great effort in two finals this past week. Thank you, as ever, to those who give up their time to coach all of our teams. The next Senior match is at home to Teemore on Saturday June 11th. The club’s final All Ireland Feile 2016 fundraiser will also be held on June 11th with a table quiz in Doogie’s at 9pm. We are hoping for a good turnout with tables of up to five people, with entry per table set at £20. The quiz organiser says that this one will be even better than last year’s, with questions to suit all levels and brain types, whatever that means. Castle: Saturday 18 June, 2pm. DDCP historical trip to Dublin on Saturday 25th June 2016 will take in a number of historical sites. Meet at Derrygonnelly Community Centre at 8.15am and return at 7pm. The purpose of this trip is to promote a greater understanding of the historical facts surrounding the events leading up to the 1916 Easter Rising through to the present day.
