Guidance on Traffic Signal Maintenance from PennDOT The state Department of Transportation recently issued guidance regarding the procurement of maintenance and repair of traffic signals using Liquid Fuels Tax Funds. The conclusion was that these expenditures were required to follow the advertising, bidding, and contracting requirements. A memorandum will be sent to all townships from the state Department of Community and Economic Development in the coming weeks. Questions can be directed to PennDOT.
