Both teams took NORTH TEXAS care of business in week one, as North Texas defeated Abilene Christian, and SMU survived a close call against Arkansas State. The matchup to watch in this game is the QB play. North Texas QB Mason Fine is one of the best QBs in the group of five if not the country, and he threw for 383 yards in week one after passing for 7,845 yards and 58 TDs the last two years. SMU trots out Texas-transfer Shane Buechele at QB who passed for 360 yards week one. SMU comes into the SMU game the favorite in what should be a high-scoring affair.
