By David Fernandez PPAGLA Chairman of the Board We recently had a chance to have a “show and tell day” at Cathedral High School. Cathedral High School has a student body of more than 700 young men, most coming from low-income families living in the old- est neighborhoods of Los Angeles. One of our PPAGLA board members, Lou Varela, is a Cathedral alum, and he came to us with the idea of spending some time with Cathedral’s video/audio students. PPAGLA board member Art Quezada, a well-known chief videographer from KMEX-TV Los Angeles, volunteered his time and brought a live TV truck to the school for show and tell.
