The AFCA has selected an All-America team since 1945 and currently selects teams in all five of its divisions. What makes these teams so special is that they are the only ones chosen exclusively by the men who know the players the best — the coaches themselves. Watson finished 2014 as the leading rusher in Division II with a career-high 2,153 yards on 319 carries while scoring 29 rushing touchdowns, which also lead the nation. His 195.7 yards per game was also tops among Division II players. Fradi was No. 1 in the nation with 28.5 tackles for loss, tied for No. 9 in solo tackles with 73, and finished with 8.5 sacks. The LSC continues to build upon its proud history while intending to be recognized as the premier NCAA Division II conference in the nation. The league’s mission is to foster student participation and success among member institutions in NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletics as an integral part of each institution’s total educational program. The LSC shall pursue student-athlete development with highest regard to the principles of academic excellence, graduation success, sportsmanship, ethical conduct, resourcefulness, community service, gender equity, and diversity. The LSC - founded on April 25, 1931 - has developed from a five-team conference of Texas- based schools to a 19-member league that spans four states (Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas).     Athletics at Tech became a part of your education. GA. TECH COACHING STAFF Bob Bossons was captain of the 1950 Georgia Tech eleven. He joined the Jacket staff in 1951 and later became B team coach. Frank Broyles was a former all-around Georgia Tech athletic great and joined the staff after the 1950 season as backfield coach. Earl Bortell came to Tech in 1921 to teach school but took over the tennis team in 1932 and has held the job since then. H. E. Dennison came to Tech in 1929 and became Faculty Man- ager and Director of the golf team in 1931. Norris Dean is a graduate of Georgia Tech who joined the stall after graduation and took over the helm of the track team in 1943. Ray Graves came from the Philadelphia Eagles to Tech in 1947.
