UCLA at Cal State Fullerton Feb. 11 - The fifth-ranked UCLA Bruins (6-2) 2005 UCLA Gymnastics Schedule will compete their first of two meets this weekend at Cal State Fullerton on Friday, Feb. 11. Maloney Named Pac-10 Gymnast Of The Week - Fifth-year senior Kristen Maloney was named the Pac-10 Gymnast of the Week and the UCLA/MET- Rx Student-Athlete of the Week for the second time this season after an out- standing performance at Michigan. Maloney won the all-around with a score of 39.575 and placed first on beam (9.9) and floor (tied with a 9.9), second on bars (9.9) and fifth on vault (9.875). The nation's top-ranked gymnast has been rock solid all season, scoring 9.9 or higher on 14 of 22 routines com- peted and 9.825 or higher on 21 of 22 routines. Maloney continues to be an inspiration since her return to gymnastics in 2004 after a two-year battle with leg injuries.
