Paid for by the Rhode Island State Right to Life Committee, Inc. ABORTION EXTREMISM at the Rhode Island General Assembly Seven East Bay lawmakers are pushing an extreme piece of abortion legislation at the State House. Senator James Seveney and Representatives Gregg Amore, Susan Donovan, Joy Hearn, , Jason Knight, and Kenneth Marshall have cosponsored S274 / H5343, which would:

• Repeal and prohibit State restrictions on public funding for abortion and state employee coverage for elective abortion; • Prohibit the State from restricting, that is, banning any “method” of abortion, even PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION; • Allow abortions beyond our longstanding “quick child” threshold, potentially allowing abortions all the way up until birth by leaving the determination of fetal viability solely to the discretion of the “attending physician,” that is, the abortionist contracted to kill the unborn child... even abortionists like Kernit Gosnell; • Strike down most informed consent requirements, putting vulnerable women in danger; • Prohibit state and local agencies from restricting the “manner” in which abortions are provided, potentially putting local abortionists beyond regulatory oversight (health and safety regulations and inspections for example) by the Department of Health and other state agencies.

The bill amounts to a virtually complete deregulation of the local abortion industry, even as Congress is recommending criminal investigations into Planned Parenthood for allegedly traffcking for proft in fetal body parts harvested from abortions performed by them. Is this really why East Bay residents sent Amore, Donovan, Hearn, Kazarian, Knight, Marshall and Seveney to the State House?
