Project provides for Stage I - Upgrading and replacement of high voltage equipment at 55 substations of Kazakhstan National Power Grid which have not been included in the scope of Phase I of the Project. Stage II - Construction of 220 kV Shu – Zapadnaya OHTL, 256.6 km, and Burnoye – Tulkubas OHTL, 60 km.

The Project provides for: - Replacement of two transformers of 125 MVA with the same of 250 MVA at 220/110 kV TsGPP SS - Rehabilitation of 220 kV TsGPP – Ossakarovka OHTL (118.7 km)
