Objection

The entrance has been constructed without planning permission. Colgate Parish Council would question why this entrance is required when there is already an entrance to the house. There is a concern that the entrance may be used for commercial purposes with the possible dumping of materials and other activities associated with the applicants building firm, which could lead onto further encroachment into the countryside and cause harm to the visual amenity of the rural area. There is an enforcement order in place which includes the already laid track and this should be considered with the present planning issue.
