NAME: Vanessa “Nessy” Wallace Hometown: Minneapolis, Minnesota Height: 5’3” Weight: 170 pounds Finishing Move: Running Powerslam

STRENGTHS • Strong as a bull. This second generation grappler has met very few female wrestlers (and some of the men to boot) that she can’t overpower. Her slams are devastating, her suplexes awe-inspiring. • Larger than most of her opponents. Her size makes her a challenge for smaller opponents who generally find themselves unable to do much but try to get her off her feet. Good luck with that. • Temper. When she starts seeing red, she becomes even harder to put down... but she is prone to making mistakes when it happens so it’s a 50/50 shot in terms of strategy against her.

WEAKNESSES • Stamina. Her size makes a long night at the office a very tough one for her. She prefers short matches. If you can get her into deep water, your chances improve dramatically. • Thin-skinned. Vanessa’s size made her the subject of a whole lot of bullying in her childhood and teenage years. Being the only daughter of Battlin’ Burt Wallace didn’t help matters. Her siblings gave her the “Nessy” nickname as a youth and it stuck. When she hears it, that temper is likely to go nuclear. • Inexperienced. Despite her brothers being in the business for some time, her father wanted something else for her. So, she had to go out on her own to get trained which put her a few years behind schedule. She’s made up for lost time on the indies but on the big stage, she may be overwhelmed.

OTHER COMMENTS The lone daughter of Burt Wallace and the sister of the Wallace twins and Larry Wallace. Vanessa hasn’t always gotten along with her family and promoters in the Great Lakes area took advantage of that with some intergender matches against Chaz and Chet that were YouTube sensations.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 The AWA’s search for more competitors for the Women’s Division caught Vanessa’s eye even though none of her siblings would lift a finger to get her a gig. The fans and the office will be impressed by her incredible strength and she has the potential to make some waves in 2017. NAME: Van Clayton Hometown: Jonesboro, Arkansas Height: 6’8 Weight: 380 Finishing Move: Last Ride powerbomb

STRENGTHS • Awe-inspiring power. A multi-time winner of various strongman competitions, this big country boy will stun the masses with the feats of strength he can perform in and out of the ring. • Size. This beast of a man will dwarf just about anyone he steps inside the ring with • Intimidation. Add the size and strength to a fearsome look and Clayton reduces most opponents to a quivering mess before the bell even sounds.

WEAKNESSES • Greener than a pepper tree. Fresh out of the Combat Corner, Clayton has only been wrestling for about nine months but his raw power and dogged determination earned him the quick call to the big leagues. But he’s still a very inexperienced rookie and you’re likely to see him make lots of mistakes. • Self-control. To put it bluntly, he has none so expect lots of DQs and boneheaded decisions based on emotional and not logic. • Expectations. With so much size and strength and the quick stay at the Corner, many are predicting big things for Clayton but what happens if he fails?

OTHER COMMENTS Grew up on a farm in Arkansas. Left the world of strongman competitions because his AWA contract offer was more than he’d ever made before. Sometimes seems to enjoy feats of strength more than the wrestling itself.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 Difficult to see the future for this one. There’s been a lot of big, strong dudes who have flamed out in the world of wrestling. The AWA trainers believe Clayton’s determination makes him different but only time will tell. NAME: Curt Sawyer and Alexander Kingsley Hometown: Dallas, Texas and Miami, Florida Height: 6’3”/6’4” Weight: 270/265 Finishing Move: Kingsley sets for a Russian legsweep as Sawyer delivers his big lariat

STRENGTHS • Friendship. These two formed a bond during their brief time in the AWA together and have been friends ever since. This opportunity is big for both men and they know it and are looking to take advantage of it. • Mix it up. With Sawyer’s brawling mixed with Kingsley’s sweet science, they should have their bases covered against most opponents.. • Desperate men. Sawyer’s late start to a pro wrestling career means his days are numbered and he knows it. Kingsley’s recent financial troubles makes him eager to make a quick buck. Their backs are against the proverbial wall and they should come out fighting as they try to make an impact in the division.

WEAKNESSES • Lack of experience as a team. They’re good friends but have never teamed together before. Expect some growing pains as they get used to one another inside the ring. • Difference in attitude. Sawyer has always been the blue collar fan favorite while Kingsley was the spoiled rich brat. Can they find a way to co-exist? • Sawyer’s history of injuries. This former barkeep has had his pro wrestling career cut short by injuries seemingly every time he gets on a roll. Can he stay healthy this time?

OTHER COMMENTS After a pair of brief AWA runs, Sawyer worked for World of Combat in 2016 until a leg injury brought on his release. Kingsley’s 2016 saw his father indicted for shady business practices, clearing out the family fortune.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 This team came about when the AWA offered to bring back Kingsley but only if he came in as a tag team. That led Kingsley to the only man he trusted enough to stand by his side - his friend, Curt Sawyer. This team has worlds of potential but at the moment, that’s all. Some in the front office have taken wagers the team will implode within months and they’ll be at each others’ throats. NAME: Mr. Stars And Stripes Hometown: The Streets of America Height: 6’2” Weight: 275 Finishing Move: Stars And Stripes Slam - pop-up powerslam

STRENGTHS • Strong fan support. Clad in a mask that looks like the American flag, you better bet the calls of “U-S-A” ring out whenever he arrives on the scene. He relishes in those cheers and thrives on them. • Upper body strength. Mr. Stars And Stripes is built like a brickhouse and puts those muscles to good use inside the ring. Power is his game and he plays it well. • Incredible drive. This masked man says his goal is to make Americans proud again and he doesn’t intend to let them down. This mission statement drives Mr. Stars And Stripes to be able to absorb a lot of punishment in the ring and come back strong for more.

WEAKNESSES • Identity. While Mr. Stars And Stripes says that you wouldn’t even know his face if the mask came off, that doesn’t stop some competitors from gunning for the mask. • Controversial. Mr. Stars And Stripes is very vocal about the injustices and corruption he sees in the USA right now and that’s earned him some detractors. • A target. Wearing that stars and stripes mask might as well be a bullseye for every America hating foreign menace rulebreaker that comes down the pipe.

OTHER COMMENTS Not much is known about Mr. Stars And Stripes. His skills in the ring would imply that he’s got a background as a pro wrestler but under this mask, he’s only been on the scene for a handful of months.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 2017 is certainly ripe with corruption and injustice so Mr. Stars And Stripes should have a lot to talk about. But will his political leanings be an asset or a hindrance on his quest for success in the American Wrestling Alliance? NAME: The Big Top Circus (Loko, Boom Boom, Tiny, and Chuckles... and friends) Hometown: Under The Big Top Height: Weight: Finishing Move: Chaos

STRENGTHS • The numbers game. This collection of clowns and sideshow freaks will outnumber anyone they come in contact with. Expect a standard tag match for them to have at least another 3-5 people at ringside. • Chaos. They thrive on chaos. Their gameplan is lots of interference, lots of silly clown spots, and as much chaos as they can generate to throw their opponents off their game. • Well-rounded. Tiny is a literal giant. Not a very good one as a pro wrestler but he’s got the size. Boom Boom brings the power as well and is a well-rounded performer. The other two are smaller but they can match speed with quicker teams.

WEAKNESSES • Success is optional. For these clowns, winning a match is important but they might even consider it a win if they caused a little anarchy. • DQs. All the interference - while key to their gameplans - will eventually be seen from time to time. • Chaos. When total anarchy is your goal, things like a strategy often gets tossed aside.

OTHER COMMENTS Who the heck are these guys? No one seems to know. They have wrestling skill though so you’d imagine they’re not completely new to the game. Became huge fan favorites in Mexico.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 Part of the AWA’s outreach into Mexico, the Big Top Circus could bring their popularity there to the States. With the tag division in flux, there is an opportunity for the right team to strike it big in 2017. NAME: “The Calgary Stampeder” Rocco Robinson Hometown: Calgary, Alberta, Canada Height: 6’2” Weight: 220 pounds Finishing Move: The Cross Check - The Pounce... Period. NOTE: This character has a full app if you want it.

STRENGTHS • Wild brawling. Robinson’s former days as a hockey enforcer have prepared him quite well for the wrestling ring. While he learned the scientific side of the business from his time training with the Coltons, he found that he has a knack for crazy fighting. • Canadian hero. For a company looking to make big waves internationally, Robinson would be a “get.” As a two sport star playing for the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders and the NHL’s Calgary Flames, he is truly an icon throughout the Great White North. • Colton family. He’s a member by marriage of the legendary Colton family which means he’s got plenty of pull and plenty of allies watching his back.

WEAKNESSES • Knee injury. The same injury that ended his hockey and football careers at age 31 also cut short his first shot at an AWA run. All healed up... for now... Robinson is ready for his closeup. • Colton family. The Coltons are the Canadian Lynches... which means that they have lots of enemies and lots of those enemies will be gunning for Robinson. • 31 year old rookie. The rare combination of advanced age and inexperience means that Robinson may have a rough go of it from Day One.

OTHER COMMENTS Rocco Robinson married Caroline Colton while training with her family for the ring. Robinson’s celebrity status made him a top draw at wrestling promotions throughout Canada.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 With at least one major Canadian event on the books for 2017, I’d expect the AWA to look to bolster their Canadian roster as they head up North later this year. NAME: “The Crusherweight” Adrian Kirk Hometown: Birmingham, United Kingdom Height: 5’10” Weight: 205 Finishing Move: The Royal Flush - a Dragon Sleeper applied from a Camel Clutch position

STRENGTHS • Mean and nasty. Kirk shows no mercy in that ring. No holds are off limits. He’ll fish hook you, twist your fingers, bite your ear, whatever he can get a hold on to bend and snap. • Striking. He’s also one of the most feared strikers on the European continent and he knows it. Forearms, elbows, headbutts aplenty. • Loner. This business is about making money not making friends... which is no problem for Kirk who would stab his own mother in the back for a title match. This actually usually benefits him because with no allies, he never has to worry about a friendship stopping his rise to the top.

WEAKNESSES • No allies. A particularly brutal summer-long feud with Ringkrieger showed the world that Kirk’s attitude left him without a friend in the world and no one to stand by his side. He didn’t mind and gave all the fight he had but he definitely could’ve used a helping hand or two. • Surly attitude. Kirk doesn’t like anyone. No one. And he shows it. He’ll take the slightest offense as a mortal wound and come looking for blood. Every time he opens his mouth, he’s likely to offend someone and just doesn’t care if he does. • High flying. Oh, he can defend it fine... but he also has a tendency to want to do it at times. Something about growing up in the business idolizing the cruiserweights who couldn’t get the proper respect because of their size... and wanting to show that he can do what they did AND earn the respect. Problem is... he’s not very good at it.

OTHER COMMENTS Kirk was injured during the AWA’s summer tour of 2016 when they came to Europe, meaning a scheduled tryout for them had to be postponed. His vicious style in the ring typically earns him the ire of the fans but he’s also been known to have runs where he’s one of most popular guys around. Go figure.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 Inspired by Tiger Claw at SuperClash being on the world stage again, Adrian Kirk immediately reached out to see if there would be interest in him. The new ownership of the AWA, looking to bolster the international side of the roster, flew him to the Combat Corner for a week long tryout. He obviously impressed and enters 2017 with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. NAME: The Blonde Bombshells (“Vivacious” Victoria Morgan and “Breathtaking” Becca Hyatt) Hometown: From Every Man’s Dream Height: ??? Weight: ??? Finishing Move: The Bombing Run - Both mount the same corner. Morgan hits a somersault senton off the middle rope before Hyatt snaps off a right after

STRENGTHS • Cheating. Oh, these ladies can cheat their asses off. With their manager, Chicky Barten, in their corner, they are masters of distraction and deception. • High flying. They can flip and fly with the best of them and often in tandem. • Teamwork. These two have been friends since Junior High and know everything there is to know about one another. At times, they seem as close as sisters and almost have a sixth sense in predicting each others’ actions in the ring.

WEAKNESSES • “DON’T HIT ME IN THE FACE!” - a trademark moment in every Bombshells match comes when - inevitably - one of their opponents makes the mistake of hitting them in the fact and that cry is heard. Hey, these girls have potential modeling careers to think about. • It’s better to look good than to... well, anything else really. Appearances are everything to the Bombshells and they’d rather win in impressive fashion than to take just any win at all. • Chicky Barten. Yeah, he can cheat. Yes, he can help cut annoying interviews for them. But he’s really bad at his job. Like, really bad. He’d rather hold a mirror and help them with their hair than watch tape and plan strategy. But keep an eye out for him and his trusty spray can that he used to cleanse the air of their opponents. He’s been known to use it effectively to help the Bombshells claim victories.

OTHER COMMENTS The Bombshells have been one of the top tag teams in the world of women’s wrestling in the United States for two years now. Most believe they would have made the AWA roster from the beginning if it wasn’t for rumors of horrible backstage attitudes.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 There are no Women’s Tag Team Titles in the AWA for the Bombshells to shoot for... but that will be their goal. To drive enough interest and talent into the Division to warrant the addition of those titles and to become the first team to wear them. NAME: “Street Jesus” Willie Bones Hometown: Compton, California Height: 6’0” Weight: 280 pounds Finishing Move: Laid To Rest - sitout spinning uranage slam

STRENGTHS • Agility. For a man of his size, Bones moves like a cruiserweight in there. He’s a natural coming off the ropes, even the top for his signature frog splash. He’ll dive to the floor when necessary as well. • New attitude. The former Willie Hammer has embraced his roots - the streets where he grew up - and comes back to the AWA with a harder on him and a determination to do what he couldn’t before. • Well-rounded. In addition to the flying, Bones has a variety of slams and suplexes learned under Todd Michaelson’s learning tree. He can brawl a little too and claims that side of his style will get better with time.

WEAKNESSES • Former failings. Bones comes back to the AWA knowing he failed to live up to the hype the last time through. And this time, he won’t have his support system to lean on as he’s forsaken them all for this new attitude. • Neck. He may be coming back but the remnants of Juan Vasquez’ piledriver remain. The neck will always remain a weak point on the Street Jesus. • Controversial. Bones has been telling friends that when he gets back on TV, he’s going to raise some eyebrows with his words and actions. With the new corporate structure in ownership, this may cause some trouble.

OTHER COMMENTS The former Willie Hammer is the nephew of former pro wrestler Soup Bone Samson and was personally trained by Sweet Daddy Williams and Todd Michaelson. His former love for the Combat Corner has been destroyed as he says Williams and Michaelson made him “soft and weak.”

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 This is a bit of a wild card as it remains to be seen if the masses will take to Hamm- I mean, Bones’ new attitude. If they do, he could be one of the most unique individuals in the business. If they don’t, this change in attitude might be short-lived. NAME: Jimi Jam Jester Hometown: The Sunset Strip Height: 5’10” Weight: 172 pounds Finishing Move: Going Platinum - hair flipping before a fairly devastating swinging neckbreaker NOTE: Full app available for this character

STRENGTHS • He’s annoying... like, really... really... really annoying. So, sometimes that causes people who want to beat him up to make some really bad mistakes. • Former rock star. So he’s dripping with charisma and is actually a ratings draw... at least until they see him wrestle. • The Band. Jester’s got a group of hangers-on with him at all times. Roadies, groupies, bodyguards. And the only things they have in common is that they all love Jimi and they all know how to interfere in his matches a lot.

WEAKNESSES • Size. He’s a beanpole in there so almost nothing he does has much impact. • Style over substance. Jimi’s more interested in how he looks in the ring. Expect lots of flashy moves with little impact. Lots of ridiculous taunting. And of course, cheating galore. • No interest in improving. If Jimi ever learns a new move, you can bet it’s an accident. He spends his night after the matches at the party drinking beer and meeting girls... not watching video to study up.

OTHER COMMENTS WHOOOOOA, ALRIGHT! Jimi’s signature catchphrase is on t-shirts before he even gets to the AWA thanks to his Billboard Award winning music career. The best line from the original AWA scouting report on Jimi? “Man, after 15 minutes, I wanted to kick this guy’s ass. Someone might pay to see that happen... a lot.”

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 Jimi’s going to sing a couple of songs. He’s going to drink some beer. And he might even win some matches. But as long as the party rolls on, it’s all good for Jimi Jam. WHOOOOOA, ALRIGHT! NAME: “The Stank” AC Starr Hometown: Seattle, Washington Height: 6’1” Weight: 201 pounds Finishing Move: Starr’s Star Press - Springboard SSP

STRENGTHS • Aerial skill. This young man can fly at you from any direction and any height in or out of the ring. Keep your eyes on the sky when doing battle with him because you just never know what’ll come next. • Military background. Starr’s a former US Marine which makes him disciplined, in shape, and ready to adapt to the next challenge. • The Stank. This is Starr’s name for the aura that surrounds him. The confidence. The good looks. The sex appeal. The charisma. And the talent to boot. The Stank is what he says you need to succeed.

WEAKNESSES • High risk offense. When most of your offense comes from the sky, occasionally you’re gonna crash and burn. When he does, it’s spectacular but it’s also very dangerous and potentially match-ending. • Confidence. The Stank may give him confidence but that ego will stink to some. He believes he’s the and he’s come to the AWA to prove it. • Size. At 201 pounds, he’s a relatively small dude so the bigger fish in the AWA ocean just might gobble this one up.

OTHER COMMENTS Won the Wrestling Watcher 2016 Award for Best High Flyer. Considered one of the hottest young prospects on the indy scene. The end of 2016 saw a bidding war between several promotions for his services. His weekly podcast “The Starrcast” is one of the most popular pro wrestling shows online.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 Starr comes into the AWA with a lot of hype behind him. That always creates a tough situation for the competitor. Live up to the expectations and you’re in the clear. Fail to do so and you might be labeled a bust so fast, your Stank will spin. NAME: The War Pigs (Havoc and Ripper) Hometown: Detroit, Michigan Height: 6’3/6’2 Weight: 575 pounds combined Finishing Move: WMD - Ripper lifts into the electric chair, Havoc comes off the top with a flying clothesline

STRENGTHS • Raw power. These two young men walk into the AWA two of the strongest men in the locker room. If you don’t find them at home or in the ring, they’re likely at the gym. • Legacy. The twin sons of founding War Pigs member, Hammer, Havoc and Ripper understand the legacy they’re walking into and are determined to live up to it. • Finishing move. It’s a one hit finish. Don’t expect them to have to land this more than once to get the win.

WEAKNESSES • Greener than a garden hose. These two are fresh out of wrestling school so expect lots of mistakes, lots of youthful errors. • One-dimensional. They’ve got the muscles but that’s about it. If you want to wrestle or fly, that’s not their game. • Massive shoes to fill. The pressure is on these two young men to live up to the War Pigs’ name.

OTHER COMMENTS After suffering a career-ending neck injury in Japan, Hammer asked his two sons to carry on the War Pigs name. They did so with success and drew interest from several North American promoters.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 The War Pigs of days gone by never really caught on in the AWA for an extended period of time. As we head into 2017, a new team for a new era of AWA action has arrived. And with a tag division ripe to be plucked, the War Pigs are looking to make an immediate impact. NAME: TORA Hometown: Osaka, Japan by way of Duluth, Minnesota Height: 5’8” Weight: 170 pounds Finishing Move: Wanizame Bomb - fireman’s carry into a Northern Lights Bomb

STRENGTHS • High flying skills. TORA is one of the best high flyers on the planet without question. He uses less of it now with his attitude change but when he takes to the sky, the highlight reels are made in an instant. • New-found aggression. After one too many tag team partners betrayed him, TORA snapped and embraced a dark side to his personality. This brought on a new aggression inside the ring that has brought him great success. • Incredible drive. TORA has spent his entire career being told he couldn’t cut it in the business. Too small, too nice, too whatever... he’s overcome all the objections and has thrived overseas as one of Japan’s top cruiserweights.

WEAKNESSES • Size. He has the drive to overcome it at times but he’s still undersized for the world of pro wrestling. When he’s not facing competitors his own size, TORA can be overmatched by sheer physicality. • Napoleon complex. Because of his size, TORA always seems to have a chip on his shoulder about proving others wrong. This can drive him into situations that aren’t to his advantage at times. • Sudden love for hardcore. With his new attitude, TORA has also shown a propensity for getting himself into matches or situations where he wants to take things to the extreme. He’s broken more tables in six months than he had the rest of his career. This can break down a body in a hurry.

OTHER COMMENTS Formerly one of the most beloved competitors in the industry, TORA’s attitude change has twisted the fans’ opinion of him. He doesn’t seem to care though.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 TORA’s AWA return comes as a bit of a surprise considering the recent negotiations between Tiger Paw Pro and the AWA regarding another Rising Sun Showdown event... and what will Brian James have to say about his old partner’s return? NAME: “Sin City Savior” Sid Osborne Hometown: Las Vegas, Nevada Height: 5’10” Weight: 260 Finishing Move: Into The Pit - Wheelbarrow lift into a spinning sitout face-first power bomb, rolled into a double leg cradle

STRENGTHS • Innovative. Watch a Sin City Sid match and you’ll often see some weird tweaks on moves you thought you inside and out. • Devil May Care attitude - on the mic and in the ring, Sid is willing to take plenty of chances and “make the most of his minutes.” • Never backs down - no matter if he’s outsized, outgunned, or overpowered, Sin City Sid will face all comers in a fight without hesitation.

WEAKNESSES • No filter. On the mic, you just never know what might come of Sid’s mouth. He’s a true loose cannon and his mouth has gotten him in trouble on more than one occasion. • Believes the world is against him. He has a major persecution complex and blames everyone else for his issues. This is likely the reason he hasn’t broken through to the main roster for so long after so many AWA execs believing he’s ready. • Cult-like fan following. You’d think this is a good thing but the idol worship makes Sid even more convinced he’s God’s gift to pro wrestling. It just drives his ego even further down the wrong path.

OTHER COMMENTS A former rock star who nearly lost his life in a drunk driving accident where he wrapped his Corvette around a telephone pole. Became a local hero in Las Vegas when he saved a family from a gun-wielding carjacker while working security at a club.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 Sid finds himself in the unusual position of having both high and low expectations for his AWA career. In the ring, few can doubt his talent. On the mic, none can. But it’s that attitude... that chip on his shoulder... that superiority complex that makes him believe he’s better than you. That’s his cross to bear and his mountain to climb if he wants to succeed. NAME: Harley Hamilton Hometown: Kansas City, Missouri Height: 5’6” Weight: 145 pounds Finishing Move: Bridging Cradle Suplex

STRENGTHS • Pedigree. The daughter of the legendary Hamilton Graham, the sport of pro wrestling is in Harley’s blood. She was born into this business and born to be a champion. • Training. She spent her early days of training under her father’s learning tree and then moved on to the Combat Corner. Few that have ever laced ‘em up have been as well-prepared for the sport as she has. • Natural athlete. Harley played several sports in college including basketball and track and is well-suited for the world of pro wrestling.

WEAKNESSES • Daddy’s little girl. Harley got into the business thinking her father would always be around to guide her but with Graham’s recent dismissal from the AWA, Harley would be all alone as she breaks into the pro ranks. • Silver spoon. Harley grew up getting everything she wanted exactly her way. What happens when she learns the hard way that you have to earn your keep in the pro wrestling rings? • Arrogance. Before she even wrestles her first match in the AWA, Hamilton already believes she’s the greatest female wrestler in the world. And who knows, maybe she is but that ego is going to get her in some trouble.

OTHER COMMENTS Harley Hamilton has been deemed a natural in the ring since the first time she got inside one. Giving herself the surname “Hamilton” was a way to pay tribute to her legendary father without trying to cash in on his name.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 This may be the most anticipated rookie year in AWA history as fans and pundits around the globe are waiting to see just what the offspring of Hamilton Graham is capable of doing inside the ring. NAME: The Blackjacks (Blackjack Whittaker and Blackjack Sawyer) Hometown: Dallas, Texas Height: 6’6” each Weight: 272/237 Finishing Move: Top rope bulldog off the electric chair mounted victim

STRENGTHS • Seal of approval. You know these kids have something special when Blackjack Lynch himself gave them the thumbs up to use his wrestling name and old tag team gimmick. • Raw talent. Both of these rookie have athletic background, having played football together for West Texas in college. Lynch immediately saw something in them when they showed up to the Combat Corner and took them under his wing. • Size. At six foot six inches each, these are big kids with the potential to do some damage inside the squared circle.

WEAKNESSES • Greener than a brand new banana. While Blackjack might have thought they were ready for the ring, others in the Combat. Corner were less sure. • The weight of expectations. It’s a heavy deal to walk into the ring carrying the nickname of one of the greatest of all time. • Speed of training. In all honesty, these two haven’t spent much time in the Corner at all - a relatively short six months compared to some of the others. They learned how to fight... they always knew that... but some of the other areas of the business may be a deficiency in their training as they attempt to make the jump.

OTHER COMMENTS Jason Whittaker and Dustin Sawyer walked into the Combat Corner as two overwhelmed kids with something to prove. Blackjack Lynch instantly took a liking to them and as his final act before getting shown the door by AWA management, he bestowed the Blackjacks name on them and told them to do him proud.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 As everyone knows, the AWA tag team division is ripe for the picking by a fresh, new tag team. Is that the Blackjacks? They don’t have the experience of some of the other teams looking to come to the AWA but they do have the drive. NAME: King Kong Hogan (Real Name: David Goodman) Hometown: Parts Unknown Height: 6’8” Weight: 283 pounds Finishing Move: ???

STRENGTHS • Unpredictable brawling. By this point, Hogan has earned the reputation as one of wrestling’s best (and most wild) brawlers. He will fight someone all over ringside... out to the locker room... to the parking lot... down into the river... up the tarmac of the airport... you name it. He even did a death match on a deserted island for a Japanese promoter for crying out loud. • Training. Despite being a wild-eyed lunatic at times in the ring, Hogan actually has some decent training in his history, having learned under both Blackjack Lynch and the Shane/ Strickland combo at the Yard. • A true rebel. Hogan is late in his career as he comes to the AWA and in his past is a long trail of broken bones and burned bridges. He’s never met a promoter he trusted and is always on the lookout for a double cross.

WEAKNESSES • Running out of options. Korugun got him this AWA gig as he’s spent the last few years working almost exclusively in Japan for Total Japan Pro Wrestling under GOLIATH Takehara. But Hogan’s propensity for walking out on promoters who have allegedly wronged him has limited where he can wrestle at this point. • A career’s worth of brawling. Even the toughest of guys start to have their bodies break down when they’ve been through the level of punishment that he has. He’ll work hurt but one of these days, you expect his injuries to catch up to him. • Fighting over winning. Don’t get me wrong. Hogan is always... ALWAYS... looking for the winner’s share of the purse. But he also loves a good fight. And when you see the amount of Double DQs and No Contests riddling his record, you better believe that sometimes he puts the fight over the result.

OTHER COMMENTS Hogan’s career is littered with legendary bloodbaths with the likes of Ebola Zaire, Mutessa, Morgan Dane, and others. He’s a former multi-time Tag Team Clash Crown tournament champion alongside his long-time partner, Hank Easton.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 Hogan’s famous for saying he only cares about three things in this business... red, gold, and green. And you better believe those are his goals upon arriving in the biggest promotion in the world. NAME: Arminius Hometown: “From the battlefield...” Height: 5’10” Weight: 197 pounds Finishing Move: Draw, Notch, Loose - 630 senton

STRENGTHS • Aerial skills. Perhaps the most gifted high flying wrestler on the planet, Arminius does moves that would put Skywalker Jones to shame. • Lucha libre heritage. Having grown up in Mexico as a fan of the sport, Arminius has that lucha libre spirit living within him. Respect for the sport is high for this young man. • Untapped potential. This young man is still growing as a pro wrestler and many believe he hasn’t even scratched the surface yet of what he’s capable of.

WEAKNESSES • Hype. When people toss around “greatest high flyer in the world” for a young man all of 20 years old, that’s a lot to live up to and quite the bullseye on your chest. • High risk style. When you fly, sometimes you crash... and it hurts. • The mask. With the respect for that lucha libre history, it means Arminius also treasures the mask and will do anything to protect its sanctity.

OTHER COMMENTS The Wrestling Watcher Rookie Of The Year a few years back, Arminius has been hyped up as the second coming for a while now. Parted ways with SouthWest Lucha Libre in late 2016 after a pay dispute.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 There’s a whole lot of people excited about the idea of Arminius arriving in the United States. The fans. The office. The pundits. Even the wrestlers. Everyone will be watching this young man to see if he can take his success in Mexico and translate it to the USA. NAME: “The AWA’s Leading Lady” Prima Donna Hometown: New York City... center of the universe... Height: 5’8” Weight: 145 pounds Finishing Move: The Standing O - Canadian backbreaker lift, drops down to the knees to jolt the spine

STRENGTHS • Not afraid of the spotlight. Her time as a touring teenage pop star taught her to embrace the bright lights and in fact, thrive under them. • Power. Although fairly slender, Donna’s got some muscles to boast of and brings a strength game to the AWA Women’s Division that few others carry. • Charismatic. All of her Combat Corner trainers say that while still limited in the ring, where Prima Donna truly shines is on the mic and in her overall presentation. Her entrance where she sings her way down the aisle is obnoxious to the core and will make her one of the most hated Women’s Division competitors instantly.

WEAKNESSES • Limited in-ring skill. Still learning, Donna seems like she may be getting rushed to the main roster because of her personality and not her in-ring techniques. She’s likely to struggle a bit against the more seasoned competitors until she gets some ring time. • Obnoxious. You will hate this woman. Badly. She believes she is the true star just waiting for her opportunity to shine. The Leading Lady gimmick is on her for a reason. • Short leash. The AWA’s dropping her into a featured spot with limited skill but limitless potential. But you get the feeling that if she fails early, she may not be given much room to grow into her spot.

OTHER COMMENTS Do you remember Donna Martinelli’s pop song “You And Me Were Meant To Be?” No? Look it up on YouTube and watch all the videos of a young Prima Donna lighting up stages at state fairs and college campuses around North America. And then watch the Behind The Music that tells about her crash and burn music career. It’s an incredible story.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 There will be buzz. There will be hype. There will be the chance to succeed. But can her dazzling charisma carry her slowly-progressing ring skills to the top? NAME: Prince Banner Hometown: Portland, Oregon Height: 6’5” Weight: 328 pounds Finishing Move: Beast Mode Engaged - sit out powerbomb

STRENGTHS • Staggering power. There’s a reason he gave himself the surname Banner for his in-ring career. This man is a true Hulk. He’ll throw people around with ease and awe people with his shows of strength. • Former MMA skills. He’s got lots of striking techniques and lots of power behind those strikes from his days in kickboxing and MMA. • Showmanship. “The Prince” looks like a star because he IS a star. He looks like he belongs in the Main Event because he IS the Main Event.

WEAKNESSES • Speed. He’s a big, hulking mass of humanity. He’s not about win a foot race against pretty much anyone. • Injury history. With the extra weight on his body and all the years of MMA and kickboxing and pro wrestling, his body has been through the wringer. • Showmanship. The same skill that makes him a superstar also gives him the tendency to swerve out of his lane to put on a show for the people.

OTHER COMMENTS Former kickboxing champion. Former headliner for GLORY Fighting Championship. Former Total Japan Pro Wrestling Triple Crown Champion.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 He’s got the resume. Now can he do the dance in the biggest pro wrestling promotion on the planet? NAME: The IT Couple (Shawn and Sasha Ocean) Hometown: Bel Air, California Height: 6’1”/5’7” Weight: 232 lbs/155 lbs Finishing Move: Shawn: Dirt Off Your Shoulder - torture rack into a split-legged faceslam Sasha: Jacked Hammer - sets for a vertical suplex in the corner, runs out into a Jackhammer mid-ring

STRENGTHS • Shawn can fly, Sasha can lift. Shawn Ocean’s got top notch aerial skills while his wife brings the power game. Both are former college athletes and that athleticism shows in all that they do. • Business savvy. Both graduated with top honors in Business and Marketing. They know their brand and they know how to make it pop. • Loyal. Nothing is coming between these two no matter how hard you try.

WEAKNESSES • Jealousy. Their powerful commitment to each other sometimes takes the form of red hot jealousy of someone who even looked wrong at their woman/man. • Entitlement issues. They’re going to walk into the AWA feeling like they own the place before they’ve wrestled their first match. And if they don’t immediately succeed, they’re going to start looking for someone to blame. • Focus. They’ve got lots of irons in the fire beyond the world of pro wrestling. This could distract them when they need 100% attention on their in-ring matters.

OTHER COMMENTS The Oceans are college sweethearts who married shortly after graduation. They’ve been on the hunt for global domination ever since.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 What are they going to do in 2017? The same thing they always do... try to take over the world. NAME: Kelly Kowakski Hometown: Asbury Park, New Jersey Height: 5’6” Weight: 135 pounds Finishing Move:

STRENGTHS • “The first thing you gotta know about me is that I’m a fighter. You want to talk about my momma? We’re gonna fight. You want to beat me in a game of pool? We’re gonna fight. You dare to open your damn mouth and disparage the good god damn name of The Boss? We’re damn sure gonna fight.” • “See that scar right there over my right eye? No, the other one. I got that when some biker chick cracked a beer bottle over my head after I beat her boyfriend in arm wrestling. It was a fair fight too... after I headbutted him and broke his nose. Where was I? Oh, beer bottle. Yeah. She cracked me and then I got up and cracked her back. I always get back up. Bring what you got but I ALWAYS get back up.” • “The people seem to like me. I don’t get it. I don’t give a damn if they do or not but they do so more power to ‘em. I’m all about crackin’ open a beer and bustin’ open a skull... and they cheer me for it. Hey, they keep buyin’ those t-shirts, they can cheer me all they want, you get me?”

WEAKNESSES • “Pffft. Weaknesses? Really? Okay, I guess I get tired from kickin’ too much ass. Is that a weakness?” • “Oh yeah. I busted up my neck something fierce on a piledriver in a piece of crap ring in Delaware. Doc said I’d never wrestle again. He’s right. I don’t wrestle any more. Now I fight. And that’s the way I like it.” • “Shoes to fill? Because of my name? I guess you can say that. I don’t really know if I’m The Fury’s kid to be honest with you. My mom had kind of a casual respect for the bonds of matrimony and she liked the Double Eye so it’s possible. But I really just like the name a whole lot better than my given one.”

OTHER COMMENTS “What do you want to know? That I was scraping by working for $20 a night when I was some kind of a technical wizard but when my neck got busted up and I started fighting, the paydays went through the roof and the stuffed suits started ringing up my line? Yeah, that’s what happened.”

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 “Let’s see... first off, I plan on ripping that wig right off Lauryn Rage’s head... then I’m gonna slap Erica Toughill right in the mouth. Oh, if that Skylar Swift gets too close, I may have to bust up her pretty face. Eventually though, I’m going mountain climbing and see if I can take Kurayami down like an earthquake.” NAME: Peligrosa (w/Angelica Westerly) Hometown: Danger City Height: 5’4” Weight: 115 pounds Finishing Move: The Sacrifice - flying double stomp to the heart

STRENGTHS • Ruthlessly vicious. Look up Peligrosa on YouTube and you’ll probably find a series of videos showing her breaking opponents arms in a very similar fashion to Supreme Wright. Peligrosa may be even more vicious than the former AWA World Champion as she’s left a trail of broken limbs throughout Mexico. • High flying skills. Trained in the mortal arts of lucha libre, Peligrosa can flip and fly with the best of them. Unfortunately for her opponents... • Hardcore. ...she’s also got skills in fighting. Leaving no stone unturned, Peligrosa spent a year working on the bloody sands of Puerto Rico, learning how to fight with the best of them.

WEAKNESSES • Bloodlust. At times, it seems like Peligrosa is more focused on hurting an opponent than beating them. It has - on occasion - cost her a victory. • Marketability. Despite her cool masked look and popular style, many promotions are hesitant to showcase a bloodthirsty woman who likes to break arms. Their loss. • Still fairly new to the business. Despite a couple of years in Mexico and one in Puerto Rico, Peligrosa is still inexperienced in comparison to many in the AWA Women’s Division.

OTHER COMMENTS There is a bit of a mystery surrounding Peligrosa. The masked luchadora is rumored to have had a very famous trainer for pro wrestling... one who exiled her and forbade her from ever mentioning their name after she showed her love for the hardcore side of the business. Her manager, Angelica Westerly, has shown a knack for finding highly sought after talent internationally and exposing them to a worldwide audience.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 Peligrosa is a unique talent who enters a division that may see a surge of incoming talent in the early part of the year. Can she make an impact? And will that impact come in the form of broken limbs aplenty? NAME: Daniel Ross (w/Marty Meekly) Hometown: Hesperia, California Height: 6’3” Weight: 223 pounds Finishing Move: Pick a hand. Or a limb.

STRENGTHS • Striking. Ross was a GFC Champion in the days before the glitz and glamour. He fought in small arena in front of uneducated crowds shouting “GET HIM A BODYBAG! YEAAAAAH!” But he fought. And he fought hard. And he fought well. His striking was second to no one and when he dropped someone, they stayed dropped. • Submissions. Ross is a walking encyclopedia of submissions. Give him a limb, he knows a hundred different ways to bend it until you break or it does. • Easy to take lightly. Ross doesn’t look like someone who will knock you out or choke you out. In fact, he looks like a pretty nice dude. But get him into the battleground of his choice and you’ll quickly find out what kind of man he is. He is no man. He’s a machine. An ultimate fighting machine.

WEAKNESSES • Age. After his years in the GFC came to an end, Ross kicked around the pro wrestling scene, splitting his time between the States and Japan. While in Japan, he also competed for some MMA companies. With all that background, he’s one of the toughest in the world... but he’s also well past the point where most are starting their pro wrestling career on the biggest stage. • Charisma. Put him in a suit and tell him to look tough? He’s got that down pat. But when you hand him in the mic and tell him to put an ass every eighteen inches... that might be a challenge. Enter Marty Meekly, the disgraced former AWA referee looking to get back at his former employer in a managerial role, who will do all the talking for this top notch competitor. • Temper. Outside the ring, he seems cool as a cucumber but when the bell sounds, he’s got a hot temper than can be exploited into making mistakes.

OTHER COMMENTS Ross has worn championship gold all over the world in MMA and regional pro wrestling companies. At this point, he’s also trained several others for both MMA and pro wrestling and is recognized as a top notch teacher in both.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 Now a second-generation pro wrestler, Ross grew up hearing from his father that the world of pro wrestling is about putting smiles on face.

Daniel Ross respectfully disagrees.

He’s there to hurt people, win matches, capture titles, and make money. Period.

And he will tap out or knock out any living soul who thinks otherwise. NAME: Joshua Dusscher Hometown: Hollywood, California Height: 5’11” Weight: 202 Finishing Move: Dusscher Drop - flipping Blockbuster neckbreaker off the middle rope

STRENGTHS • Celebrity status. Let’s be honest. Almost no promoter would honestly book Joshua Dusscher to wrestle despite his attempts in the past year to make a legit career out of it if he wasn’t a star. But he is. And that draws curious eyeballs wanting to see what the hell this former pop megastar is doing fighting in shithole Armories across the US. • Determination. You gotta give him a little credit. Since dedicating himself to wanting to become a pro wrestler, he’s worked hard at it. He’s trained with some of the best in the world - even spending a summer in The Yard in Amarillo, one of the toughest training schools around. He’s determined to make something out of this. • Damage sponge. Surprisingly, he can take a lot of punishment and keep coming back for more. I know, I know. I’m shocked too. But I’ve seen it! He’s wrestled in garbage matches for crying out loud and still kept going!

WEAKNESSES • He’s not exactly what you’d call... good... at wrestling. In fact, at times, he’s pretty bad at it. But he’s famous and he works hard and... well, that’s better than some. • Unpopular in the locker room. Many in the pro wrestling world remember all too well Dusscher’s former pro wrestling run and remember what a joke he made of things. That doesn’t sit well with them and Dusscher finds out how long of memories pro wrestlers have when they share a locker room - or ring - with him. • Desperation. With his pop career dead in the water, this is Dusscher’s shot to become famous... again... and desperate people do desperate things like becoming pro wrestlers without any talent for it.

OTHER COMMENTS Joshua Dusscher was a famous pop star several years ago (what is it about musicians wanting to become pro wrestlers?! Sheesh!) until his career flamed out when all of his teenage fans became twenty-somethings and moved on to musicians with talent. After a few years of living on his millions, his thirst for the spotlight took him to the only other industry he’s ever worked in... pro wrestling.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 He still has money in the bank, right? NAME: “America’s Sweetheart” Amber Gold Hometown: Dallas, Texas Height: 5’3” Weight: 112 pounds Finishing Move: Split-legged moonsault

STRENGTHS • Marketability. Gold is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and was once on the cover of Sports Illustrated. The AWA lured her away from the Cowboys and put her into the Combat Corner to learn the world of pro wrestling. • Athletic. Her trainers in the Corner say that her athleticism is incredible and that she often nails a new technique after just a few attempts. • Aerial skills. Amber quickly learned that the flying moves were her favorite and dedicated herself to learning as many as she could, often putting her own tweaks on well-established moves.

WEAKNESSES • Size. She’s small compared to the rest of the division and will struggle to compete with the larger women. • New to wrestling. This is not her life’s goal. This isn’t her passion. She’s loved her time in the Corner but many wonder if she’s looking to become a star rather than a wrestler. • Walking target. The AWA put a lot of hype into her signing and even developed a web series around her training. There’s a lot of pressure on her to succeed and a lot of peers who will be looking to take “America’s Sweetheart’ down a peg.

OTHER COMMENTS Gold is a graduate from Texas A&M with a Sports Management degree and has been around sports her entire life. Her parents are both high school athletics coaches as well. Gold competed in both gymnastics and cheer in high school and college, finishing in the Top 10 at NCAA Championship meet for gymnastics her senior year of college.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 The AWA’s marketing department is praying for success. The fans are eagerly anticipating her debut, having watched her grow within the Combat Corner. But will that hype turn into success or will she be another pro wrestling flameout? NAME: Eli Knox (w/Juliette) Hometown: Detroit, Michigan Height: 5’11” Weight: 196 pounds Finishing Move: For Her - Top rope double stomp while pointing to Juliette

STRENGTHS • Devotion. This is the greatest (greatest) love you’ve ever known. Eli Knox will do anything for his Juliette... anything. And the feeling is mutual. He has taken on competitor far bigger than him for disparaging her name. She’s clawed the eyes of the same larger-than-life men for getting the better of Eli. • Juliette. She will interfere and do so frequently and violently. They are a team in every sense of the word and she will do anything to make sure he succeeds in his career. • Jealousy. Often a weakness for others, Eli’s jealousy actually drives him to incredible heights to please his wife.

WEAKNESSES • The whole world’s comin’ to an end. These two believe that we’re on the edge of a new apocalypse and they’d like to help that along. Some people just want to watch the world burn... and that’s them. • Dark sides. Both of these folks have some demons they could use some help exorcising. The problem is - they like their demons right where they are and when those demons see the light of day, it’s a terrifying thing to behold. • Ring the bell. A DQ means nothing to them. It just means someone else is trying to stop their particular brand of violence from coming to light.

OTHER COMMENTS Yes, they’ve both done time in the past which should be no surprise considering their attitudes towards the world. The Knoxes are likely the most dangerous couple in all of wrestling and they’re happy with that reputation.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 As long as they’ve got a victim every time out, they’re happy. NAME: The Blonde Bombers (“Beautiful” Bobby Baldwin, “Love Machine” Johnny Nova, and “Smooth” Kenny Stanton) Hometown: ??? Height: I’ll look it up if you take them. Weight: I’ll look it up if you take them. Finishing Move: ???

STRENGTHS • Teamwork., Baldwin and Nova have been partners for years now, even after leaving the AWA. Stanton is new to the group but is a top notch tag team wrestler in his own right and fits the unit like a glove. • Experience. All three are veteran competitors at this point and are just what the AWA tag team division could use to kickstart the revival (get it?) • The numbers game. Stanton claims all three are Blonde Bombers therefore any of the three can compete whenever they want. This unpredictability plus the extra man outside to provide timely interference could provide a huge advantage for this version of the Bombers.

WEAKNESSES • Talking. All three have AWA experience in the ring... but all three have always had someone else on hand to talk for them. Will someone be able to step up and carry the load on the microphone? • Washouts. There’s a reason these three haven’t been in the AWA the entire time. Whatever was preventing their success in the past, they need to find a way to get passed it if they plan to be the AWA World Tag Team Champions this time around. • No manager. With Doyle out of the picture, this trio suddenly needs to gameplan their own matches and get their own strategies together. Again, someone will need to step up to be the “general” of this squad if they are to succeed.

OTHER COMMENTS After the split of Brad Jacobs and Kenny Stanton, Stanton was taking time away from the business when he went to a local indy and caught the OG Bombers in action. Stanton approached the duo in the locker room and offered to form a new union.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 The Blonde Bombers look at the AWA tag team division as one that is ripe to be taken over and that’s exactly what they intend to do... oh, and they wouldn’t mind picking up a Stampede Cup trophy along the way. NAME: Omega Hometown: The Deepest Reaches Of Space... Height: Height Unknown (about six feet) Weight: Weight Unknown (about 200 pounds) Finishing Move: The Black Hole - electric chair face slam

STRENGTHS • He’s a friggin’ superhero. (Or at least he thinks he is). The confidence that comes from that means he’s faster than a speeding bullet (not really)... more powerful than a locomotive (nope), he can leap tall buildings in a single bound (please don’t let him try this)... • He’s fast. No, he really is. Not faster than a speeding bullet fast but he’s fast. He’s also got some flying skills and at times, shocking power. Seriously, he can lift and slam guys that he shouldn’t be able to. You’d almost think he’s... nah... it couldn’t be. Right? • Fan support. Look, the fans get it. But they love it too. He’s going to be one of the most popular competitors on the roster as he fights the forces of evil to restore hope for all.

WEAKNESSES • Okay, look... when you think you’re a superhero but you’re actually not, sometimes you do dumb things that hurt a lot. • Okay, look... to think you’re a superhero means that you’ve got some problems. And sometimes those problems can cause you to do dumb things that hurt a lot. • Okay, look... he’s not really a superhero. Got it? I mean... he thinks he is. And the people love him because he gives them hope. And he fights evil wherever it’s found. And sure, sometimes he does things that he really shouldn’t be able to do. But he’s not a superhero. I mean.. .he’s not. He can’t be. Right?

OTHER COMMENTS This is where we’d put in his superhero origin story. But we won’t. BECAUSE IT’S A MYSTERY!

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 When the forces of evil are present, guys like Gordon Myers look for a hero. Well, evil is here... and so is Omega. Happy now, Gordo? Happy now? NAME: The Violet Revolution Hometown: “The inner workings of your imagination...” Height: 6’2” Weight: 227 pounds Finishing Move: Icarus Dreams - a high elevation flying legdrop off the top

STRENGTHS • Student of the game. From his tendencies to reference from yesteryear in his promos and entrances to his uncanny ability to “knock off” a variety of famous moves that we see once from him and never again, it is obvious that the Revolution is an ardent fan of pro wrestling. He lives it. He breathes it. He is it. • Athleticism. His flying moves have remarkable height and distance. He moves gracefully around the ring in every single movement. • Charisma. The CCW fans have been going wild for the Revolution on their live events and it is the reaction he got at their SuperClash week event that convinced AWA management that the Revolution MUST be televised on Fox Sports X.

WEAKNESSES • Ego. The Revolution is so confident, we’ve created a new word to describe it. UBERCONFIDENCE. He believes he is the greatest pro wrestler on the planet. Now he just needs to prove it. • Flashy. Another competitor who often sacrifices simple basics for flashy extra. Oh, he’s extra! • Off-putting. While the fans may love him, the other wrestlers seem to have a lack of respect for his style over substance attitude.

OTHER COMMENTS The Violet Revolution showed up to a Combat Corner tryout as Shane Jackson, a talented indy worker from the Northeast. He impressed enough to earn a gig but seemed on the verge of being cut when he showed up one day completely different. He wasn’t trying out a new character. He WAS the Violet Revolution. And that flipped a light switch for the young man who has seemed destined for greatness ever since.

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 Athletically gifted, charismatically glorious, and a wonder to behold, the Violet Revolution believes that 2017 is his year to shine and no matter who holds a certain briefcase, the spotlight will always be on him. NAME: Margarita Flores Hometown: La Feria, Texas Height: 6’1 Weight: 176 pounds Finishing Move: The Lariat - the hard-hitting clothesline from any position but mostly running

STRENGTHS • Strength. Flores is one of the biggest female competitors around and uses that size advantage to showcase her power. She’ll lift you, toss you, slam you, and keep on coming until you’re down and out. • Toughness. Flores quickly became known as one of the toughest women ever to come through the Combat Corner when she split her eyebrow in a Battle Royal on a show, got stitched up, and came back to work a second match later in the night. • The Lariat. One of them... just one... and your night is over.

WEAKNESSES • Very young. At 20 years old, Flores is a quick entry to the AWA Women’s Division but her size and toughness has gotten her an early look. • Sweet science. She’s got power, she’s got toughness, but she can’t tell a wristlock from a wristwatch. • Conditioning. Hey, she loves her whiskey, her beer, and her carbs. She’ll put on a pound or two here and there.

OTHER COMMENTS Flores went viral early in 2016 for a YouTube promo where she was spitting tobacco all over the place, drinking a beer, and screaming like a drunken goof about needing to make money to feed her family. No, she’s not married but her extended family in Texas that she likes to claim is “eating her out of house and home.”

OUTLOOK FOR 2017 Gonzalez is a big rock to toss in the pond that is the AWA Women’s Division. Expect her to make an equally big splash in 2017.
