Reflection Questions for the Readings for March 7, 2021 In the first reading we hear how God “has blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.” How do you set apart a day for God in your week? Today’s psalm reminds us, “The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart.” How does following God’s law bring joy to your life? In the gospel Jesus purifies the temple. How does your faith community maintain a sacred and holy space for the people of God to worship? 3 4 LETTER FROM THE PASTOR Fr. Larry McBride March 7, 2021 Third Sunday of Lent

Snowball Fight at Your House This week, I visited Nate Raymer and he had the company of Jack Porter at his house. I am admitting that they both BEAT me at this snowball fight. So, if you are in grades 7-12 and would like to have a visit, please contact Beth. I bring the snowballs, shields for protection against the arsenals, sanitizer, Clorox wipes and some snacks for after our fight. I will wear my mask, try to social distance the best I can when snowball fighting and stay outside. This event allows me to spend time with you and your youth(s). I love getting to know more about our youth and what their interest are and what they are involved in at school or recreational events. Please let me know if we can set up a time to play, laugh and share a prayer. You can call the church, e-mail or text me and I will gladly show up at your house for some fun and excitement! **The snowballs are washed after every fight and the shields are sanitized.**
