Patch version 1.7 of dirt rally 2.0 download full. Hey there! First of all, note it's NOT a topic about the mobile port remastered CMR, but rather about the original PC title. Having messed around with numerous games by now, I decided to go back to one of the first games I ever played and attempt to adapt it to modern standards more. The game now handles ALL aspect ratios properly. That means the game will not be horribly stretched when playing in widescreen anymore. The game now defaults to borderless windowed mode. This change gets rid of a DirectDraw bug on Windows 8 and newer, which would make the game run in a window even if fullscreen is requested, also affecting performance negatively. Fullscreen borderless windowed mode does not have any of these issues, and looks identical to real fullscreen. Both windowed and borderless can be toggled via SPCMR2.ini file. When playing in windowed mode (borderless or not), the game can handle Alt+Tab properly now. All dependencies on registry keys have been removed. This makes the game fully portable and also fixes an occasional issue, where the game would not launch without Administrator privileges (due to an incorrect way the game was reading registry keys). Logging has been removed for good (since it would never log anything anyway). The game used to create a log file in C:\ which would often make the game require Administrator privileges to run. Regions can now be switched via the INI file. Depending on the game version, it has different region directories included in CountrySpecific directory. Now, if you have more than one region installed, you can easily switch between them. Field of View can now be adjusted via the INI file. You can select any value in 30.0 - 150.0 range. Support for non-Full installation methods has been removed. On the plus side, the game will never ask for a CD now. A short gameplay video showing the game in proper 16:9: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0HMeN27Rcw. is anyone still posting in those boards? I don't know, but let's find out. Car Setups - DiRT Rally 2.0. My Gamertag is GTR Technical on Steam & Xbox. I will be sharing all the setups I create on DiRT Rally 2.0. So if you cant be bothered or just don't know how to tune then my YouTube channel will eventually be a one stop shop for you. The plan is to tune every car in the game for every location and have them all capable of at least a top 10 time. (I'm not saying you'll magically get top 10 times with these setups but you can certainly cut some time off your stage times for sure). This however will take some time as I do have a job and family to contend with. My current rate of production is 2 cars per week so if I haven't tuned a car you want yet, rest assured it will be done eventually. Once a car class is complete I will release a video I'm calling "SHOWDOWN". This will consist of a split screen of my fastest stage runs with all the cars in the class on 1 stage across all locations available at the time. The current que for cars to be tuned by class is: Group A, H3 RWD, R2, Group B (RWD as well), R4, H2 RWD. Cars completed before DLC location drops will be picked up after the final DLC location has dropped. If you like the setups obviously please show your appreciation with a like just so I know I'm still on the right track with the setups. If you want to keep up to date with the latest setups I've done, either subscribe to my YouTube channel and/or follow me on Twitter. Dirt Rally 2.0 finally has VR support after a free update. August 9, 2019 Dirt Rally 2.0 VR is here. Codemasters announced earlier this year that Dirt Rally 2.0 would get VR support, and it’s been quite a wait. Now, finally, the update has gone live, letting you do your rally racing inside a proper VR headset. The game’s now live on the Oculus store and features OpenVR support on Steam, so you can take advantage of the VR support wherever you are. “Since launch our community has been very vocal about wanting a VR version of DiRT Rally 2.0, so we’re delighted to bring this to the PC version,” director Ross Gowing says in a press release. “It turns out that for many of our players VR is the only way to experience a rally game, and this will enable them to enjoy playing like never before.” There’s also a bit more in the latest patch notes, which (confusingly) bring Dirt Rally 2.0 to version 1.7. There’s a new test drive location in the DirtFish driving school, and it’ll eventually hit freeplay “in a future update.” There are also four new liveries associated with DirtFish, so you can dress up your cars in new styles. You can get a taste of VR in the trailer below. The release of VR might have been a good while coming, but it’s not a huge surprise. Earlier this year, Codemasters announced the feature for a summer release. Last year, the studio confirmed that the feature would be implemented if there was “enormous demand” from the community, but did note that it definitely wouldn’t be in place in time for launch.
