It searches the mysteries of the possibilities that are likely to occur in the future. According to the Hindu's scriptures, it is the study of cosmic influences. Those influences associated with the motion of the Sun, Moon and planets and the positions of the stars are considered to affect all living creatures, including human beings. It is also the study of the relationship of the motion and position of these heavenly bodies with physical events. Medical astrology is an earliest medical system that connects various parts of the body, illnesses, and medicines under the effect of the sun, moon, Mars and other planets or celestial bodies with the twelve astrological symbols. Each of the astrological signs along with the sun, moon, Mars and all other planets is linked with dissimilar parts of the human body. The linkage between signs and body parts is compared with the Kala-Purusha Kundali mentioned by Vedic Astrology to predict the health and Illness. This study has tried to show the relationship of medical and astrological science to clarify how the planets are responsible to produce malignancies in the person. It also displays the relationship between the medical astrology with Cancer disease. The randomly selected patients who visited cancer or relevant hospital for diagnosis, therapeutic and prognostic purpose of cancer disease were included in this study. Total twenty cancer disease treating individuals were selected for the Kundali (birth chart). The Kundali was prepared on the date and the time of birth of the cancer patients recorded by themselves and their relatives or other responsible people. The preparation of kundali, , mainly Lagna and Navamsa Kundali was based on the calendar issued by the Nepal Panchanga Nirnayak Committee. In the majority of cancer patients, the life- giving-force called the Jupiter found to be at the weak arrangement and victimized by the Saturn i.e. Saturn and Jupiter relation either seen in the same zodiac sign or in the reciprocal position. Such alliance between Saturn and Jupiter in Medical astrological analysis showed the likelihood of cancer diseases. The result showed the possibility of pre-diagnosis of the cancer-disease from the astrological point of view. So, it seems to be superior when mixed up medical astrology in modern healthcare system to prevent and control the cancer diseases. Key Words: Cancer, Celestial Bodies, Planets, Susceptibility I. In this brief paper we try to draw the lines of the possible develop- ment of the originary iconographic and symbolic repertoire of the Mesopotamian zodiac, which through the Greeks was adopted in the Western world. 1. General Introduction The sky is a wide stage, whose curtain raises for those who look upwards. Most of its protagonists and events, that take place there, are visible all over the globe; others, just in large parts of it; some, only in specific areas. However, being this spectacle silent, without explanations or subtitles, its interpretation is left to one’s own imagination. When observing the same celestial phenomena, their perception might be similar in different cultures, their interpretation, however, is deeply related to factors of religious, cultural, economic, and social nature. Though the idea of the “zodiac” and the zodiacal belt developed inde- pendently in different cultures, the one known and used nowadays, which was adopted by the Western cultures through the Greeks, is of Mesopotamian origin. Its use can be found in the Second and First Millennium Babylonian tradition van der Waerden (1952/53); Brack-Bernsen & Hunger (1999), but its origin can be tracked back to the Third Millennium, deeply rooted in the Sumerian civ- ilization.
