Hand off tasks between iPod touch and your Mac – Apple Support
Continue working on one device where you left off on another. You can use Handoff with many Apple apps—for example, Mail, Safari, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Maps, Messages, Reminders, Calendar, and Contacts—and even some third-party apps. To use Handoff, you need to be signed in with the same Apple ID on all your devices. Your devices need to have Bluetooth turned on in Settings and be within Bluetooth range of one another (about 33 feet or 10 meters).
