Notice of Race 25th -26th September 2021 Stanley Main Beach

1. RULES 1.1 The event will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of (RRS). 1.2 The Class Rules of each class will follow the Notice of Race of the Haitong International 2021 Hong Kong Windsurfing Circuit. International iQFOiL Class Rules and International iQFOiL Youth & Junior Class Rules are amended - see Notice of Race 6.1 and 6.2. 1.3 Hong Kong Sailing Federation Prescriptions will apply. 1.4 If there is a conflict between languages, the English text will take precedence.

2. CLASS AND DIVISION 2.1 The participating class and division shall be: Foil Youth Boys U19 (Born in or after 2003) Foil Youth Girls U19 (Born in or after 2003) Foil Junior Boys U17 (Born in or after 2005) Foil Junior Girls U17 (Born in or after 2005) Junior Boys U15 (Born in or after 2007) Techno 293 Junior Girls U15 (Born in or after 2007)

3. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY 3.1 Entries shall meet the requirements of Regulation 19 - Eligibility Code. 3.2 Competitors shall be members of a National Class Association which is a paid up member of the relevant association or of the International Windsurfing Association. 3.3 Eligible competitors shall enter online before 24 September 2021 00:00 at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeyS4- p3PPL3ohO875fOyJrdN0O8I1XyA6PgsC3WxYPXol3TA/viewform?usp=pp_url 3.4 Declaration Form shall be presented upon registration. 4. RACE FORMAT 4.1 Boys and Girls shall race together. 4.2 Competitors shall race a maximum of 8 races per event. 4.3 3 races are required to validate the event.

5. 6. EQUIPMENT AND EQUIPMENT INSPECTION 6.1 Equipment inspections may be made at any time during the event. 6.2 Board and foil will be provided by organiser. Front wing maximum 1100 will be used in iQFOiL Junior division. Front wing Maximum 900 will be used in iQFOiL Youth division. 7. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS 7.1 The Sailing Instructions will be available no later than event registration.

8. COURSES 8.1 Courses will be as described in the sailing instructions.

9. SCORING 9.1 Scoring will be according to RRS Appendix A and B8. 9.2 When 3 races or less than 3 races have been completed, the series score shall be the total of her race scores. When 4 races or more than 4 races have been completed, the series score shall be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score. This changes RRS Appendix A2.

10. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY 10.1 Competitors participate in the event entirely at their own risk, see RRS 4 - Decision to Race. The organising authority or any of their officials or representatives or the sponsors or their officials or representatives will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during or after the event.

11. CORONAVIRUS SITUATION 11.1 In view of the developments of COVID-19 and pursuant to the of Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation, a limitation of sub- group gathering with not more than four persons in each sub-group at the venue will be imposed. Each sub-group should be at least 1.5 metres apart.

11.2 Competitors will need to use hand sanitiser and will be subject to temperature checks when they arrive the venue.

11.3 Competitors must wear a mask at the venue, except a short-time before/after sailing or during sailing.
