Old Evangeline Brokerage building moved through town On Feb. 5, Louisiana State Police troopers escorted the old Evangeline Brokerage building as it was moved from the corner of North David and West Thibodeaux streets to its new location off North Main Street. The move took several hours and included moving telephone and power lines and traffi c lights. In addition to once housing the Evangeline Brokerage, the building has also been used as a restaurant and a doughnut shop. The building was purchased from the Town of Church Point last year.
