2021 GOLDEN BAY ROTISSERIE LEAGUE BASEBALL Press Release Number 1139 – September 21, 2021 2021 GOLDEN BAY ROTISSERIE LEAGUE BASEBALL Press Release Number 1139 – September 21, 2021 http://www.sobaysports.com/roto/ Week twenty-five is complete and with just two weeks to go, there are still some close races in play. Our leader, TOM’S THUMBS, have stretched their lead out to six and a half points and look to be in fine shape for the title. Second place now belongs to MEYER’S FLYERS with 87 points. They have a few points to gain, but appear to need help from the rest of the pack if they are to catch the THUMBS. In freefall, the ROBIN HOODS have dropped to third place after a disastrous week. They trail the FLYERS by four and a half points and hold a single point lead over the fourth place MICHAEL’S MAULTERS. The MAULTERS appear destined to make the money and have a shot at finishing as high as second. An epic battle is brewing for fifth place. Even though these teams will finish out of the money, there is power with fifth place in the pre- auction draft. Two and a half points separate the GARDEN PARTIERS, the ARTFUL DODGERS, and WILLIAM’S CONQUERORS. This should be fun to watch. Finally, in the race to stay out of the cellar, the FARGIN ICEHOLES have overtaken BART’S TRANSBAY TUBES by two and a half points. The best hitting in the league is shared between the ROBIN HOODS and TOM’S THUMBS, each with 50 points. WILLIAM’S CONQUERORS enjoy the best pitching in the league with 50 points. The big gainers for the week were MICHAEL’S MAULTERS (+4) who remained in fourth place, the GARDEN PARTIERS (+4) who climbed from seventh place to fifth, and the SEACLIFF WARTHOGS (+3) who remained in tenth place. The big losers for the week were the TWIN GEMS (-5) who remained in eighth place and the ROBIN HOODS (-4.5) who dropped from second place into third. MICHAEL’S MAULTERS won their fourth week of the season with a dominating 104 point week. Four teams finished with 80 or more points. The MAULTERS had the best hitting for the week with 56 points (46 runs scored, 12 HR, 45 RBI, a .280 batting average, and six SB). TOM’S THUMBS had the best pitching for the week with 49 points (56 Ks, four wins, two saves, a 3.15 ERA, and a 1.068 ratio). Per our rule, a player must play five games at a new position before he qualifies to be posted at that position on a Rotisserie league roster. This includes games played in the major leagues and the minor leagues. Here are the new positions players are eligible to play at based upon last week’s action: Matt Duffy ss Ryan Vilade 1b-of On the following pages are the major, minor, and roto league transactions which have occurred since your last press release.
