Consequently, it has been mined in excess to that is available that has resulted in lowering of groundwater table. India being the world’s largest consumer of groundwater is affected badly by this problem, especially the parts of Indo-Gangetic plain like Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Western part of Uttar Pradesh. Haryana being an agrarian state is in a critical position with respect to groundwater with 56cm per year depletion rate. Present research will focus on analyzing the trends of groundwater level of one of the Department of Geography, CRS University, Jind, Haryana Department of Grography, Govt. EC No. SEIAA/HR/2017/189 Dated-28.03.2017 PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT 1 1.1 Introduction M/s United Mining Corporation has obtained the Environmental Clearance Letter from State Environment Impact Assessment Authority, Haryana for the Mining of Stone at Manakawas Plot No.-2, over an area of 22.90 Ha. in Village-Manakawas, Tehsil-Charkhi Dadri, District-Bhiwani, Haryana Vide Ref. No. SEIAA/HR/2017/189 on dated: 28.03.2017. The Total area of the mining site is 22.90 Ha. The total cost of the project will be 1.5 crores. The approval for the mining scheme and progressive mine closure plan was obtained from the Department of Mines & Geology, Haryana vide Letter no. DMG/HY/ML/Manakawas-2/2016/2014 on dated 11.04.2016. 1.2 Purpose of the Report As per the “Sub Para (ii)” of “Para 10” of EIA Notification 2006, it is stated that “It shall be mandatory for the project management to submit six monthly compliance reports in respect of the stipulated prior environmental clearance terms and conditions in hard and soft copies to the regulatory authority concerned, on 1st June and 1st December of each calendar year” and as per compliance of condition mentioned in Environment Clearance Letter (i.e. Part B General Condition, point number XVII), Six monthly compliance reports should be submitted to the Regulatory Authority of Central and State Government. -

REGIONAL PLAN 2021 FOR ADDITIONAL AREAS OF NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION Addendum/Modification to the Regional Plan-2021 for NCR notified on 17.09.2005 NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION PLANNING BOARD MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS, GOVT OF INDIA CORE 4-B, FIRST FLOOR, INDIA HABITAT CENTRE, LODHI ROAD, NEW DELHI-110003 1 Background 1. National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) has prepared Regional Plan-2021 for NCR (RP-2021) under Section 10 of the NCRPB Act, 1985 which was notified on 17th September, 2005. 2. Subsequent to the notification of RP-2021 on 17.09.2005, additional districts namely Bhiwani (including Charkhi Dadri) and Mahendragarh districts of the State of Haryana and Bharatpur district of the State of Rajasthan, were included to NCR vide Government of India, Gazette Notification dated 01.10.2013. Further, in addition to the existing five Counter Magnet Areas (CMAs) to NCR, four new CMAs, namely, Ambala in Haryana, Dehradun in Uttarakhand, Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh and Jaipur in Rajasthan were also identified and approved by the Board. 3. Subsequent to addition of seven new districts in NCR, the work of preparation of Regional Plan-2021 has been initiated. As part of this, the task of creation of Regional Landuse for the additional areas of NCR was entrusted to National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), Govt. -
