Introduction (i) Ministry of Textiles vide earlier RFP closed on 12.08.2019, had invited participation of Industry / Industry Association / Chamber of Commerce for participating with the Government for skill development in Textiles Sector. Further through RFP closed on 11.2019, Industry / Industry Association were invited for up-skilling / re-skilling of the existing textiles workers for captive requirement of the Industry. 2. Objectives (i) The objective of the current RFP is to partner with Textile Industry Association working with textile MSME for skill development in MSMEs in textile sector. The participation is open to Industry Associations generally for conducting training on behalf of MSMEs located in their respective clusters. The participation is open for such Association which are listed in the list at Annexure-I (As per the record of the office of Textile Commissioner). (ii) Any other Industry Association which is engaged with MSME textile units, but is not listed in Annexure-I and is desirous of conducting such skill development for their member units may write to office of Textile Commissioner at [email protected] to include their names in the list. 3.
