Well, it’s getting closer by the day. Get ’em fixed and polished and “Bob’s Your Uncle” they’re ready. Just don’t ask me about mine and we’ll all get along. But first a couple of things about the show. I have included a map (on the next page) of Osseo which shows how to get there from highway169. In short, you get off on 85th and then go take a right on 169. You will need to take a right turn on 1st Avenue N.W. which is the next street after the stop light. Go up 1st and turn at the entrance sign. Don’t forget a donation to the food shelf and a few bucks for the Girl Scouts People’s Choice Award voting buckets. This Saturday, at our breakfast meeting, I will be asking for volunteers to help out with the information and registration tent as well as people to hand out the goody bags and direct cars into the parking spots. The more volunteers we get 2016 SPONSOR CLUBS the less time everyone has to help out…See how nice that is. • The Usual Suspects, and Some Not So Much – Hawksworth Quiickest in Star Mazda Practice 1 at Edmonton, Local Driver Rzadzinski in Top-5
THE USUAL SUSPECTS, AND SOME NOT SO MUCH – HAWKSWORTH QUIICKEST IN STAR MAZDA PRACTICE 1 AT EDMONTON, LOCAL DRIVER RZADZINSKI IN TOP-5 Edmonton, Alberta / July 20, 2012 – Coming off an Indy Toronto weekend in which he won two races in a row from the pole, it's no particular surprise to see English racer Jack Hawksworth – the current championship points leader – at the top of the time sheets in Star Mazda Practice 1 at this weekend's Edmonton Indy. His lap of 1:28.923 in the #82 Team Pelfrey / TORGOEN Swiss Watches / EXA Networks Mazda was the only lap in the 28's, with second-quick Sage Karam's fast lap in the #88 Andretti Autosport / Comfort Revolution Mazda 0.734 sec. slower at 1:29.657. Third quick was Cabby Chaves, with a 1:29.797 in the #19 JDC Motorsports / CLARO / Marca Colombia / Tecpro Mazda. Where it starts to get interesting is the 4th spot on the time sheet, occupied by local driver Stefan Rzadzinski, a regular top-10 finisher so far this season, but here showing the value of lessons learned in his foray into Indy Lights at this event last season. Back to the usual suspects in with Juan Piedrahita 5th fast in the #9 JDC Motorsports / Petrosur / GFK Motors Mazda with a lap of 1:29.971 and in 6th, with Martin Scuncio turning a 1:30.162 in the #22 Juncos Racing / Pullman Bus / Gobierno Regional del Bio-Biol Mazda. Back to surprises in 7th with Ashley Freiberg turning a 1:30.163 in her #91 JDC Motorsports / TrueCar Mazda.

  • Jdc Motorsports Driver Tristan Vautier Wins His Fourth Star Mazda Championship Race of the Season -- Amid Much Drama -- at the Grand Prix of Baltimore
JDC MOTORSPORTS DRIVER TRISTAN VAUTIER WINS HIS FOURTH STAR MAZDA CHAMPIONSHIP RACE OF THE SEASON -- AMID MUCH DRAMA -- AT THE GRAND PRIX OF BALTIMORE Baltimore Grand Prix / Sept. 4, 2011 – Happy to be well clear of all the drama taking place behind him, JDC Motorsports driver Tristan Vautier won his fourth race of the season – all from the pole – in today's Round 10 of the 2011 Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear at the inaugural Grand Prix of Baltimore. Following him across the finish line, just half a second back, was Andretti Autosport driver Sage Karam. Crossing the finish line third was Juncos Racing driver João Victor Horto and rounding out the podium was Expert Series driver Walt Bowlin who finished 1st in class and 6th overall racing for AIM Autosport. Sage Karam, Tristan Vautier, Joao Victor Horto, Walt Bowlin With 46 points available in the upcoming season finale in two weeks at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and Vautier carrying a 38-point lead (392 vs. 354), the young Frenchman has only one competitor, Connor De Phillippi, standing between him and the series championship. And the battle for the prestigious Rookie of the Year award will also be settled that weekend, between Sage Karam and Gustavo Menezes. "I felt very much in control of the race right from the start, although I could see Connor De Phillippi in my mirrors and that always gives a little bit of pressure; but then at about the half-way point I didn't see him anymore and they told me over the radio that he crashed, so that meant I could stop worrying about him and focus instead on not making a mistake," said Vautier who splits his time between Grenoble, France and Florida.

For Immediate Release: April 2, 2014 Contact: JDC MotorSports Prepared by: ProMedia Motorsports PR Additional photos available upon request USF2000 CHAMPIONSHIP TOP-FIVE PERFORMANCE FOR JDC MOTORSPORTS IN ST. PETE Toppe starts 2014 season with fifth place finish MINNEAPOLIS, MN (April 2, 2014) – JDC MotorSports' 2014 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda campaign is off to a solid points scoring start, following a top- five effort on the Streets of St. Petersburg. Second-year racer Clark Toppe showcased pace and racecraft in the season-opening twin bill, ultimately coming home with a fifth place effort in race two. With a USF2000 win on his resume via the off-season Winterfest championship, Toppe entered the first two rounds of the 2014 USF2000 Championship in Florida ready to be part of the title fight. He promptly solidified those intentions in the opening two practice runs around the concrete- lined street circuit, posting the third best time in both sessions. Given the early success, the stage was now set for a strong qualifying run. Things, however, did not go as planned. Just missing on an ideal car set-up, combined with traffic on-course, Toppe was unable to get the desired fast lap in his No. 97 Toppe Motorsports/Red Line Oil/HR- Sportswear racer as the Texas native was classified 12th quickest. Returning to the cockpit several hours later, following some severe weather in the area, Toppe and the rest of the USF2000 field were greeted with tricky wet track conditions. Upon getting the green flag, the JDC MotorSports racer was engaged in a spirited dice for position.

For Immediate Release: April 22, 2014 Contact: JDC MotorSports Prepared by: ProMedia Motorsports PR Additional photos available upon request JDC MOTORSPORTS SET TO CHALLENGE FOR USF2000 TOP HONORS AT BARBER Toppe poised to add to top-five start of 2014 campaign in Alabama MINNEAPOLIS, MN (April 22, 2014) – The chase for Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda glory resumes for JDC MotorSports this coming weekend (April 26-27), with the second event on the series calendar at Barber Motorsports Park. With American up-and- comer Clark Toppe behind the wheel, the multiple junior formula championship-winning squad from Minnesota is poised to build on a top-five 2014 debut outing, and previous success in Alabama. Ask any racer, and they will tell you track experience/knowledge is a huge advantage when striving for race wins. Going into the second event in the USF2000 Championship title fight, JDC MotorSports' Toppe will benefit from that. The Woodlands, Texas native took part in both the pre- season Chris Griffis Memorial Mazda Road to Indy Test and the Winterfest tripleheader at the 2.38-mile picturesque road course earlier this year, capturing top-10 finishes in all three rounds. Success by the No. 97 Toppe Motorsports/Red Line Oil/HR-Sportswear pilot, however, will not just be based on these performances. The 16 year-old Toppe indicated his indications for the 2014 campaign with a Winterfest win, and followed that up with a strong top-five finish in the USF2000 Championship season-opening event in St. Petersburg. Given the expertise the skilled JDC crew brings to every event, combined with the continued advancement of Toppe's skills, the stage is set for a run at top honors in Alabama.

THE HAWKSWORTH CONVERSION -- JACK HAWKSWORTH TRANSFORMS HIS FOURTH POLE OF THE SEASON INTO HIS THIRD VICTORY IN STAR MAZDA RACE 1 AT THE TORONTO INDY Toronto, Canada / July 7, 2012 – Team Pelfrey driver Jack Hawksworth re-asserted his position in the 2012 Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear with his third victory from the pole in Race 1 of the Star Mazda double-header at this weekend's Toronto Indy. Controlling the race from flag to flag – despite a standing start that left two cars stalled on the grid and several race incidents resulting in full-course yellows – Hawksworth brought his #82 Team Pelfrey / TORGOEN Swiss Watches / EXA Networks Mazda home 0.295 second ahead of Zach Veach, who started 3rd in the #77 Andretti Autosport / K12 / Zakosi Data Backup Mazda, and 1.156 seconds ahead of Gabby Chaves, who started 7th in the #19 JDC Motorsports / CLARO / Marca Colombia / Tecpro Mazda. Chaves now has three podium finishes this season and moves up to third in the points; Veach has two podiums, with today's result his best so far. With former championship points leader Connor De Phillippi falling victim to an ill-timed rainstorm in qualifying that saw him start 15th and a traffic-congested race that saw him finish 7th, Hawksworth regains the lead in the championship battle with 166 points to De Phillippi's 153. "I was able to control the race and run the pace I wanted, even with all the yellows and re-starts," says Hawksworth, who set the fast lap of the race and thus won his second PEAK Performance pole award of the weekend.
