MIYA’S MEMO

“The Chatham Cup is a very special and traditional competition for the entire football community within . We always enjoy playing in the cup which is a totally different type of game. Fortunately, some of our coaching staff and players have experienced winning the competition a few years ago and we know how special it is. Due to the Chatham Cup being cancelled last year, our most recent cup game was two years ago in the Semi-Final against eventual winners Napier City Rovers. Although this match was one of the team’s best performances that season, we unfortunately lost the game in extra time. Many of us still remember the bitter feeling from this defeat but use it to fuel our hunger to have a successful cup run. 2021 ROUND 2 While Cambridge is a lower division club, we know we can’t take anything for granted in any knockout game. I am sure Cambridge CHATHAM CUP will give everything to create a problem for us and therefore we MEN’S PREMIER LEAGUE need to be ready for a tough game.” Saturay 5 June Kick Off 2pm - Waikaraka Park
