Felix Holzer

Biographical Overview

“My passion is the world of symbols, to capture people and things on film from an unusual point of view. To create photographs with highly symbolic character and tension using a clear but subtle representational language that communicates more than words.”

Photographer Felix Holzer based in Munich, Germany intrigues through photographs that capture the essence, the soul of his subject, using minimal staging.

His photographs have won multiple international awards, for example, The Graphis Photo Award New York, The Communication Arts Award of Excellence in California and the International Festival of Advertising Photography in Moscow. Felix Holzer, in addition to his fine art projects, has achieved international acclaim through numerous advertising campaigns for companies like BMW and Mastercard.

Felix Holzer lives with his wife and his two sons in Munich and enjoys travelling around the world.

Felix Holzer's style of advertising and commercial photography stood out to our staff as being both subtile in its form, and provoking of thought and imagination. The impeccable use of lighting and composition within Felix's images is inspiring - beautiful work indeed! The soft tones of hue and light saturation in many of Felix's images, work to create a mood of serenity and peaceful exuberation for the products and campaigns they address.
