Registration Check-In Registration check-in will take place in between 9-9:30 a.m. Signs will be posted to direct you to the check-in location. Nichols Hall is conveniently located across the street from the parking garage.

Directions to Campus and Visitor Parking Visit k-state.edu/directions for driving directions to campus with estimated travel times. We encourage visitors to park in the K-State parking garage, which is across the street from Nichols Hall. The garage can be accessed from the corner of Anderson Avenue and 17th Street. Please note that parking in the garage costs $1.50 per hour, with the maximum fee reaching $12.50.

Guests planning to stay all day may purchase a $5 day permit. Visit the parking services drive-through window, which is outside the parking garage near the corner of Anderson Avenue and 17th Street. The window opens at 7:30 a.m., and cash or credit cards are accepted. The one-day permit does not include garage or metered parking, but allows parking in D1 West Stadium or A1 Beach Art Museum lots.

Lunch Lunch is not provided at K-State Dance Day. An hour and 15 minutes is scheduled for the lunch break. Dancers are encouraged to do one of the following: • Bring your own lunch. • Purchase your lunch at the K-State Student Union. • Aggieville is a short walk from Nichols Hall and includes many . LINK

SpringDance Following Dance Day, all participants, parents and teachers are invited to join us at 7:30 p.m. in McCain Auditorium for the K-State SpringDance performance. We are offering discounted admission for Dance Day participants, so we encourage you to purchase your tickets while on campus.

Hotel Information Manhattan has a variety of hotel options. Check out the list provided by the Manhattan Convention and Visitors Bureau. The two closest to campus are the Holiday Inn at the Campus and the Bluemont Hotel. Both hotels are within easy walking distance and offer complimentary guest parking.

FAQs Q: Will attendees take classes in all of the styles noted on the schedule? All participants are encouraged to take all of the classes offered at Dance Day. Q: How will attendees be grouped? We are flexible about the way students are grouped in our classes throughout the day. Our instructors will work with each individual to make sure everyone is comfortable and learns something in every class. Q: Is there a break for lunch? Yes, lunch is from noon-1:15 p.m. See the registration for recommendations. Q: Once registered, will I get a confirmation email with more details? Yes, you will receive an email and a receipt for payment. Q: What will parents and teachers be doing during Dance Day? Everyone is welcome to stay and watch the classes. Please note that we do not have viewing rooms and our studios do not have windows, so everyone watching the class will be inside the studio. We also will have visitor packets from the Manhattan Convention & Visitors Bureau with shopping and restaurant recommendations, maps with local attractions, and coupons.
