The 2006 SWATCH FIVB World Tour, the top international circuit for Beach Volley- ball, comprises 30 events with prize money of USD 6.7 million and will be played in the five Confederations over a six-month period starting with the women’s Open event in Modena, Italy on 10 May 2006.

Two weeks later (23-28 May), the season’s first double-gender event will be held in Shanghai.
