RULES OF THE SHOW – 31st August 2019

1. The competition will take place at Dufton and all entries must be with the Section Secretary on or before 17th August 2019. 2. All exhibits will only be identifiable by the number allocated to it by the Secretary. 3. All exhibits must be the bona fide property of the Exhibitor. 4. All female sheep to have been the bona fide property of the Exhibitor for three months prior to the show. 5. Stock to remain on the showground until 4.00pm. 6. No exhibits to be shown where entry fees have not been paid. 7. All protests to be made in writing to the Secretary within 1 hour of the class being judged. With each protest, a deposit of £20 must be made. Should the protest not be sustained the deposit will be forfeited to the Society. The decision of the Committee in all cases will be final. Anyone infringing the rules will lose all claim to any prizes which may have been awarded. 8. All trophies must be returned in good order. 9. All trophies and cups to be held for one year only unless otherwise stated. 10. All trophies and cups to be signed for on collection and return. 11. All cheques to be made payable to Dufton Agricultural Society. 12. Industrial Tent Exhibitors to have removed cars from the show field by 9.30am. 13. Please see horse section for all Equestrian Rules. 14. By signing the entry form, exhibitors accept that data will be published in our Show Catalogue and be on the Society’s website and Facebook page and given to the press with regards to the Show’s results. We may share the information with breed societies associated with the show. Contact information will be kept for correspondence only.
