EXAMPLE Coach Krueger
My name is T.J. Restau and I am the crew chief for the officials that will be working your football game on Friday night against Tri-County. We plan to arrive at the stadium at approximately 5:15 p.m. for this game.
Please be sure that all players are properly and legally equipped, as it pertains to adornments such as towels, wristbands, black eye markings, belts, gloves (NOCSAE stamp) etc.. Reminder that players cannot wear bicep bands or face paint. The MHSAA still requires officials to receive a copy of a note from an MD or DO authorizing a player to play with a cast on his hand or arm. We need to retain a copy of this doctor’s note in order for that player to participate in the game. Please also note that eye shields must be completely clear (contain no tint) in order to be worn by a player. A doctor’s note cannot supersede this rule.
If there will be any “special” plays or other concerns we need to know in advance, please contact me per email ([email protected])
The following officials will be working:
T.J. Restau – Referee Pat Lane – Umpire Bryant Goudelock – Head Linesman Duane Bosma – Line Judge Bob Navarro – Back Judge
We look forward to working your game. The following pre-game agenda has been e-mailed to both schools so that each coach/team knows what to expect from us once we arrive at the contest site. We hope this will help you prepare for our pre-game conference.
Additionally, during the course of Friday night's game we will be keeping track of penalties. I will e-mail you a penalty report after the game which can be used during film study.
Good luck Friday night. We look forward to working your game. Tri-County @ Kent City Officials Pre-Game Agenda

EXAMPLE Coach ______,
Our Crew enjoyed working your game the other night. Overall it was a hard fought game. Your players exhibited excellent sportsmanship and the will to never give up. Our crew was very impressed given the hole the team dug for themselves in the 1st half. Coach I know your sideline had some issues with a few calls. I hope the film justified the penalties. If not please let me know. I must apologize to your for my incorrect administration of the penalty for Illegal Forward Pass. You were correct, that infraction comes with a loss of down. Overall, it was an enjoyable game to officiate. If you have any questions on any particular penalty please email me and I would be happy to clarify.
Good luck on the remainder of this season. RULES CHANGES AND POE’S
