History San José & the Model T Ford Club Present Hands­on History Days: Antique Autos in Sunday, September 13, 2015; 11:00am – 4:00pm at History Park in

San Jose, California – August 12, 2015. Are you looking for the largest annual antique auto ​ show in the West? Look no further – come out to History Park Saturday, September 13 from th 11:00am to 4:00pm for the 15 ​ Annual Antique Autos in History Park and see hundreds of ​ antique cars, bicycles, and motorcycles from the late 1800s to 1945.

“We can’t wait to host another amazing Antique Autos event at History Park this year,” said Alida Bray, President and CEO of History San José. “Seeing the beautiful cars and costumes set against the backdrop of our historic buildings is truly a treat! And there is so much for young and old alike to enjoy!”

Presented each year by the Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club and History San José, early Cadillacs will be the featured auto this year. The Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association will have working exhibits and there will be antique crafts demonstrated and antique collectibles displayed. Dixieland music will be provided by the Toot Sweet Dixieland Jazz Band, plus a barbershop quartet and Swing dancers. Kids and families will especially enjoy building and racing their own race cars.

In addition, the historic trolley will be running; you can see demonstrations at the Print Shop; visit the Fruit Barn and One Room School House; and enjoy two exhibits: Slugs, Dingbats, & ​ Tramp Printers: Printing in Santa Clara Valley, and the brand new exhibit, The Wireless Age: ​ ​ Electronics Entrepreneurs Before (1900­1960). ​

Peggy Sue’s will offer food for sale, as well as O’Brien’s Candy Store & Ice Cream Parlor. Admission is free for participants, HSJ members and children 2 and under. $5 for all others.
