2015 CHEVROLET IMPALA New for 2015: Fuel-saving stop/start technology matched with 2.5L engine OnStar with 4G LTE and standard built-in Wi-Fi hotspot (includes 3GB/three- month data trial) Bi-fuel model capable of running on gas or CNG Exterior colors: Blue Velvet Metallic, Rainforest Green and Autumn Bronze Metallic 2015 CHEVROLET IMPALA IS BETTER CONNECTED, OFFERS FUEL-SAVING STOP/START TECHNOLOGY Redesigned a year ago, the 2015 Chevrolet Impala builds on the attributes that made it one of the most acclaimed new cars of 2014 – including being named the Cars.com Best Car of 2014 and one of Kelley Blue Book’s 12 Best Family Cars for 2014. Consumer Reports weighed in, as well, after having tested the new version of the iconic sedan. A pair of new features enhances everyday driving: fuel-saving stop/start technology on the 2.5L engine and new OnStar with 4G LTE connectivity and standard built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. Stop/start technology shuts down the engine in certain driving conditions to reduce fuel consumption – boosting Impala’s city mileage 5 percent, to an EPA-estimated 22 mpg. OnStar with 4G LTE and standard built-in Wi-Fi hotspot provides a mobile hub for drivers and passengers to stay connected. The hotspot is on whenever the car is on and comes with a three-month/three-gigabyte data trial. The 2015 Impala also delivers a host of additional advanced technologies at a competitive price, including 10 standard air bags, as well as available safety technologies such as full-speed-range adaptive cruise control, crash imminent braking, forward collision alert, lane departure warning, side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, rear camera and rear-park assist.

If the key ring is carrying added weight and the vehicle goes off road or experiences some other jarring event, it may unintentionally move the key away from the run position. If this occurs, engine power, power steering and power braking may be affected, increasing the risk of a crash. SAFETY RISK: The timing of the key movement out of the "run" position, relative to the activation of the sensing algorithm of the crash event, may result in the airbags not deploying, increasing the potential for occupant injury in certain kinds of crashes. Until the recall has been performed, it is very important that customers remove all items from their key ring, leaving only the vehicle key. The key fob (if applicable), should also be removed from the key ring. REMEDY: Dealers are to install two key rings and an insert in the key slot or a cover over the key head on all ignition keys, free of charge. It’s a lot of work making sure that each rented space has a tile that can be read from the cab of a pick-up truck, and then to organize them in the correct bin and slot so that we set them out, they are in order and ready to go. We remarked old ones, remade worn out ones, and for this year, we made a bunch of brand new ones in Zone Zero. What a mission. So, to all, we appreciate you working to complete the tiles for the Set Up Day April 25th. We got done in record time including the new zone zero tiles. And one more special thing, the NTXCLC really appreciated the North Texas Regional Group Horseless Carriage Club of America, and the Lone Star Model T Ford club for pitching in to help us complete the work day. They were very helpful, and brought a smile to the effort.
