International Students Recruitment Objective Hin Hua High School is a community-run Chinese medium school registered under the Ministry of Education, Malaysia with the approval to recruit foreign students. In line with Malaysia’s vision of becoming the education centre in South-East Asia, Hin Hua High School has recruited outstanding foreign students since 1998. Facilities Located in Southern Klang, Selangor state, about 35km from , Hin Hua High School was established in 1947. This is a secondary school providing six years of academic studies(3 years at junior level and 3 years at senior level)with an enrolment of nearly 2400 students. We have a land area of 17,250 square metres while the built up area is 37,110 square metres. Today the school is modern and well-equipped with up-to-date pedagogy. Recruiting criteria 1. Grade/Level 1.1 For Chinese students (a) Recruitment of senior one students of Science, Arts & Commerce and Electronics streams. (Junior students whose parents are staying in Malaysia will be considered) (b) Course duration is of 3 years. (senior one to senior three) 1.2 For Indonesian students (a) Recruitment of students who have completed six years of primary education. Students without Chinese language foundation are to attend our Intensive Language Course (ILC) before enrolling for any other level. (b) Duration of ILC is between one to one and a half years. 1.3 Other nationalities Acceptance will be considered on an individual basis. 2. The evaluation of academic achievement. 2.1 Based on the school’s terms for promotion. 2.2 All senior three students who pass the required examinations will be awarded the Hin Hua High School Graduation Certificate. 2.3 Students who sit for the Unified Examination of the Independent Chinese Secondary Schools (UEC) will be awarded the UEC Certificate. 3. Opportunities for further studies 3.1 Students with Hin Hua High School Graduation Certificate may enrol in professional or Diploma courses in private colleges in Malaysia. 3.2 Students with UEC Certification may enrol in Degree courses in private colleges in Malaysia. (a) Twinning Programme, namely 1+2, 2+1 or 2+2 programme. Those who wish to further their studies in the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand and Australia are allowed to study at local colleges for the first one or two years and then complete their studies overseas. (b) Credit Transfer: For further studies in the United States of America, the 1+3 or 2+2 programmes are available. (c) Degree from British and Australian universities can be obtained through 3 years of studying at local colleges, namely the 3+0 programme. 3.3 Students with the UEC certificate and excelling in a certain discipline with a good command of English may further their studies in universities or colleges in Singapore, England, the United States of America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, etc. 4. Requirements 4.1 To enrol in senior one class, one must have completed 3 years of junior level with a good academic achievement and a pass in English. 4.2 With good conduct and willingness to undergo strict discipline.

(For applicants of Chinese Nationality) Registration Procedure Application for student’s visa:(According to the regulations set by the Government of Malaysia, the application of visa must be handled by the school.) 1) Hin Hua High School will apply for the visa from the Immigration office.
