Cord Cutter's Fall Tv Guide 2017 CORD CUTTER’S FALL TV GUIDE 2017 • Broadcast TV Premiere Dates — TV Antenna • Streaming Premiere Dates — Netflix, Amazon and Hulu Originals • Cable Favorite Premiere Dates — Digital Season Passes • DVD Release Dates — Disc or Digital, Rent or Buy ©2017 Channel Master L.L.C. DID YOU KNOW? Streaming all of your TV content is not a great idea. The days of unlimited data use from residential Internet companies are nearly extinct. If you are planning to stream live TV, just be aware of the high data use impact it is likely to have on your household. Using a TV antenna is a great way to avoid this issue, and the quality you get from a TV antenna is much better than the quality you get from a live stream. Stream only what you need to and let the TV antenna be your live TV workhorse. You can have a channel guide and a DVR for your TV antenna. You don’t have to give up the DVR when you cut the cord. Antenna DVRs let you pause and rewind live TV and set timers for your favorite shows, just like Cable and Satellite DVRs. If you’re lucky enough to have discovered the value of a TV antenna, you’ve also probably discovered that your TV doesn’t provide a guide for the antenna channels. Antenna DVRs solve this problem by providing a cable-like channel guide that is familiar and easy to use. Over 80% of what we watch on TV is free with a TV antenna. The “Big 6” broadcast networks, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS and The CW, are by far the most-watched TV channels in America. Of the top 50 most-watched TV shows in 2016/2017, only six came from Cable networks. Because the broadcast networks can be received for free with a TV antenna, it makes the high price of Cable TV even more unfathomable. To put things in perspective, paying for Cable TV is roughly the equivalent of leasing a car that you’re only allowed to drive 3.6 days per month. There’s no such thing as an “HD” TV antenna. The broadcast signal is HD/Digital, not the antenna itself. Don’t fall for the marketing hype and pay more than you should. An antenna from the 1970s would receive the same digital signals as any antenna you can buy today. ORGANIZED CRIME AND TERRORIST ACTIVITY IN MEXICO, 1999-2002 A Report Prepared by the Federal Research Division, Library of Congress under an Interagency Agreement with the United States Government February 2003 Researcher: Ramón J. Miró Project Manager: Glenn E. Curtis Federal Research Division Library of Congress Washington, D.C. 20540−4840 Tel: 202−707−3900 Fax: 202−707−3920 E-Mail: [email protected] Homepage: http://loc.gov/rr/frd/ Library of Congress – Federal Research Division Criminal and Terrorist Activity in Mexico PREFACE This study is based on open source research into the scope of organized crime and terrorist activity in the Republic of Mexico during the period 1999 to 2002, and the extent of cooperation and possible overlap between criminal and terrorist activity in that country. The analyst examined those organized crime syndicates that direct their criminal activities at the United States, namely Mexican narcotics trafficking and human smuggling networks, as well as a range of smaller organizations that specialize in trans-border crime. The presence in Mexico of transnational criminal organizations, such as Russian and Asian organized crime, was also examined. In order to assess the extent of terrorist activity in Mexico, several of the country’s domestic guerrilla groups, as well as foreign terrorist organizations believed to have a presence in Mexico, are described. The report extensively cites from Spanish-language print media sources that contain coverage of criminal and terrorist organizations and their activities in Mexico.

In this new economy, firms can use services provided by other businesses to grow faster, while using less capital and fewer people than would otherwise be possible. Industries are reorganizing in response to these dynamics, and companies must adapt or risk falling behind. EaaS can be thought of as an extreme form of outsourcing. In the past, firms would selectively outsource business functions to reduce costs, for example by outsourcing ancillary functions like operating a cafeteria within an office or by outsourcing labor-intensive but simple manufacturing processes. Over time, however, the high degree of standardization that has emerged across manufacturing, communications, data systems and user interfaces, among other areas, has made it possible to outsource virtually any business function.

Needed urgently are innovative health promotion approaches that are engaging and culturally sensitive. East Los High, a transmedia edutainment program, was purposefully designed to embed educational messages in entertainment narratives across several digital platforms to promote sexual and reproductive health among young Latina/o Americans. By employing analytics tracking, a viewer survey, and a lab experiment, we found that East Los High had a wide audience reach, strong audience engagement and, in general, a positive cognitive, emotional, and social impact on sexual and reproductive health communication and education.
